I believe it fetched circa £80,000 last time it was sold !! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!
I sold a 7000 mile BMW Z8 14 years ago for £55K you can add £200K on to that today..... but I've had one and it did actually make me a little profit at th time..... such is life....driving

My 64 Breg LC is all original, Inc panels and paint, A frame ect.
These cars are so very basic someone has paid way over the odds for that. That particular year would not have had the A frame as it was discontinued 2 years previously, the frame put too much stress on the nose of the diff causing oil leaks. It would have had the std leaf spring set up.

I’d pay that for a crap car that sat outside on an airfield for several years. laugh .. only ever to be driven flat out and ragged to death before being parked up and forgotten till the next series

I’ll bet it was dumped round the back until some clown bought it for £500

The highlight of the add .. it was driven by Olly Murs !!!

Sorry , who ?

My misery continues. I had almost the last 2.8i made. Had 15" FoMoCo wheels, same style as the original. Every option and electric windows as well!! Sold it to buy a Sierra Cosworth. Another that's now worth a fortune!! Best not to mention the 1972 Lotus Europa TC I suppose.

"Better to have loved and lost than never loved at all" I have owned and enjoyed several cars that i could not comfortably own again today... but I experienced and drove them at the time...

I don't understand this... Is the seller just completely delusional? That's a £500 car at best.

WTF?!? Ad says future classic hehe

Was this not a Mitsubishi Charisma underneath?
I had a 2.0T as a company car. Quite swift in a straight line but my time with it hinted not of future classic status!

It wouldn't have sat around outside, nor be neglected - it'll have been given a huge amount of servicing, probably by Vauxhall themselves.

Surprising it's allowed on the road though, I seem to remember the Lianas/Chevrolet they used to have being a pre-prod model that wasn't road legal.

‘Only one in the world wrapped in chrome gold’

So if I wrap a.....Kia Sportage...chrome...green, will it add value to the car as it’s the only one on the world wrapped in this colour?

There is so much hyperbollix in this add...and then £11k for a 1st gen with 112k on the clock....

Don't get me wrong, great cars - and rightly appreciating... but that is daft money for that one.

The exterior is in "excellent" condition despite all the stickers, the interior is "good" condition even though half of it is missing and there is a rollcage in there, the running gear is also good when it has famously had a hammering and to top it off "One of the most popular parts of the 'classic' Top Gear period was the 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car' ". bks.
