Astra flywheel and clutch costs

If yours is the 16v with M32 box, you can get GM OEM parts from Neo Brothers on ebay for about £350, and bank on around £150 or so for a garage to fit them.

Not many garages will take a job on like that for that money, jeez.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-DUAL-MASS-FLYWHE...

As far as I am aware LUK are the only manufacturers of DMF. I recently changed one on a 17CDTi, parts cost was iro £500 and I'd want £200 to do another. Not a bad job but lots to remove. Change the slave cylinder (If you could even find anyone willing to do the job without changing it), it will save you paying twice for the job.
Whilst you've got the box out you might as well strip it and get the bearings done - a weak point on the M32 gearboxes fitted to these cars. What a ball ache - did mine on the driveway myself!
