Hoegh Osaka - what was on board?
Discussion
No idea about the cars, but the buses were removed eventually, returned to the manufacturer, reworked/repaired, and then delivered. More damage was done retrieving them from the hold than in the original event. I suspect the same will be true of the plant, and the higher end, more expensive vehicles that may have just had superficial body damage. Probably a different story for any of the mass produced stuff, minis etc.
A bloke down the pub - I know - showed me some sts from the vehicle deck. A Range Tiver squashed to half its width. Some looked fine and were sitting on their lashings.
I could see the less damaged stuff maybe going back to JLR as R and D cars. The undamaged cars. I see no reason why they shouldn't be re-despatched to customers.

Why was more damage done retrieving them? Could they not be removed the same way they were loaded on?Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
