There's a fairly big "other than" in the family hatch segment. smile
hehe Yes! Doesn't worry me though. I'd rather pack light than be dragged around everywhere by the front wheels wink

What is it with these huge black panels on the rear bumpers? if you want to add a diffuser / other aero aid then do it, if not quit painting / sticking fake st on your cars.
I don't think it's any dafter than adding an actual diffuser which would be too high up to do anything useful anyway.

I'm not sure if it's trying to look like a diffuser or just trying to disguise quite how fat the arse of the car is. If that whole bumper was white, it would look enormous.

I agree but, if you're going to have a black panel who decided to have a stupid kink in it above/beneath the number plate? Weird.

I think the front looks better, less gopping. However the rear end just made me vomit.

More M135i details: full LED headlights are now standard as is the rain and light sensor and bluetooth/usb.

Active cruise control is not available for the new M135i. -> confused

Because of the diffrent bumper/grill design I believe?

looks marginally better, but the back looks like a Korean Hatch aping a BMW.

I can't think of a current Korean hatch in this segment (or indeed at all?) which doesn't look better from all angles, to be honest. The Koreans are producing some of the best looking mainstream cars on the market these days (and the Germans some of the worst).

I'm not sure, the price list says "Not available for 116i, 118i, M135i, M135i xDrive, 116d Ed, 118d xDrive". The description also says it is camera based, no mention of radar anywhere.

So they fixed the front and ruined the back.

yes

My thoughts too, even before I started reading the comments, although I wouldn't go so far as to say they've 'fixed' the front.

Still a munter overall, and the older one looked better from the rear (the one thing they really improved over the 1st. gen. before spoiling it all again....)

Not that any of that matters as they will still sell lease thousands of them.

I prefer the old one to be honest, We need to see the msport kit but I don't like the rear lighst at all.

The rear lights on the old shape are the best bit

no.

Im glad I bought my M135i last year. They look great in the flesh. Maybe I need to see this in the flesh too but I think it looks rank.

The big news there is the 3 cyl Mini engine. Somewhat glossed over.

Do we think we are going to see the attractive lease deals on these again or has that boat long gone?
