Funnily enough I just stumbled upon that on another forum. What's going on with the rear badge location though.....

Yep my OCD couldn't cope with that.
Agreed. When we bought our Range Rover a few years back, it had wonky badges:

I insisted that they changed it (yes, I know it might be a bit petty) before I bought the car.

I just knew every time I saw it, it would have made me cringe.

OCD definitely alive and kicking in me!

I don't think you need OCD to find that offensive to the eye.

If that really does have original paint you'd have to wonder why the bootlid is out of line and the badge is in the wrong place...

just a quick frustrated update from me.

Lancia: not ready to pick up today. It should be ready soon and I can't wait to get it out and stretch it's legs properly - possibly sometime this week if all goes well.
Ferrari: too far away to pick up today when combined with my duties as a dad. I'm having it delivered to a garage for a post-purchase inspection, and I'm biting my finger nails while wondering why I didn't get a pre-purchase inspection.

Summary = no car activity for me this weekend. Boo.

If only that was the E30 version which was much better weighted to the engine's power.

Sadly not, these days more likely to be a zero at the awkward-to-explain-to-the-wife end of the number biggrin

I'll ignore the comment about the crap engine ..... but I suppose it means you think the M3 and 320iS engines were also crap too....

Keep the M5, buy a cheap spotter 4x4 for heavy winter duties.

I worry less in the winter about my ability to get places, more the ability of others not to crash into me. I'd care less in something snotty.
This is the correct answer.

Today, I think I'd buy a Lada Niva/Riva
Yes! This makes sense!

And I think I've just found the perfect 'cheap' 4x4: How about this piece of V8 spanish loveliness - what can go wrong? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/l...
After further procrastination have decided to sell the touring. Sniff. Sob.
