problem being i don't have anywhere to store it, bugger.
I have a serious hankering for a mint and completely original XR3i.
I know, I know... It's front wheel drive, not an RS turbo and by modern standards, pretty rubbish. But I love them and all their 80s/90s goodness.
I know this is sold, but my god am I nursing here:

Cracking car from a dealer with a good reputation. Will outlast the cockroaches. Sublime.

Integrale update: I used it a couple of times on short journeys and it's great - and it feels in great fettle. We went to use it for a long drive on Monday, though, and there was a strong smell of petrol so Mrs rejn and the kids opted out.
I had a good look under the bonnet and all looks fine - no obvious leaks - but on leaving it again overnight, it looks like it's leaking (slightly) around half-way down the length of the car. When I moved the car so it was sloping more steeply downhill, it seems to have leaked a bit more, so I'm hoping that I've just over-filled it, so hopefully not a major deal, but it's a reminder for me of life with an older car...
Does anybody know if there is a Haynes manual or equivalent for an Integrale? Is it worth me taking a gamble on the £5 ebay special "Lancia Delta Integrale Workshop Manual CD" - or is that likely to be a complete waste of money?

good work, awesomely capable machines.
sam in the ME section has been tuning his recently, apparently as standard you don't get full throttle from standing and that simply won't do
Torque management is pretty standard, the Z06 I used to have the same.sam in the ME section has been tuning his recently, apparently as standard you don't get full throttle from standing and that simply won't do
I'd imagine it is to help stop the axle hop they suffer from.
I won't be tuning it because I have warranty to end of 2017 and it isn't worth risking...that being said Ford will let me put some bumpers on it (so long as they install them).

Mentioned it in the Barge thread, but bought my first Jag the other day.
I'm on a car buying ban at the moment, but really couldn't help myself with this one. One owner, low mileage XJ6, purchased locally from a chap who turned out to be my old history teacher. Under a bag. Lovely thing to drive. I'm really rather taken with it.
We'll be adding around 1000 miles to the odo this week with a family holiday to Devon. I've put some spanners and zip ties in the bread knife's suitcase, just in case. Wish me luck!
Well, it didn't break, fall apart, fail to proceed. In fact, I'm as impressed with it as I've been with any car purchased in recent years.I'm on a car buying ban at the moment, but really couldn't help myself with this one. It drives beautifully. Supremely comfortable. Handling is there too. Oddly quiet at speed for such an old body shape. Old enough to feel mechanical, new enough for Ford's funds and NVH department to have worked their magic. Raffishly retro-handsome too.
I never realised how mechanically robust they are. And if they do break, how easy they are to work on, and how cheap new parts are. I've crawled underneath and under the bonnet: there is space, nuts and bolts and things I recognise.
Decent ones are a grand. Insurance is 12 quid a month, tax normal. Economy OK.
Why haven't we all got one? I feel like I've untapped a very well guarded secret.
Good work chap and what a steal! I really wish I still had my black XJR
