A hot little woody (not him hehe ) has appeal but paying a huge premium for a period correct version does not, I'm afraid. I can understand if a few were done in period that they would go for big money, but a replica of such a thing I don't quite get for less-big-but-still-big money.

On another topic, I think this is a great looking 996.

It would only work on a black C4S but blacking out the rear indicators creates a nice red strip like the 964/993. Years ago I used to think a similar thing could look good on the E34 5 series.

So, racing stripes. hehe I expect the OH would kill me if I actually went ahead and put something on the car but I wonder how a black GT3 (with silver wheels) would look with a silver side stripe like the above. Or maybe the same shape but with Martini stripes.

thumbup Looks great. And nice to see one that's a bit scruffy around the edges - most morgans I've seen have been buffed to within an inch of their life.

... Martini stripes.
Ah good - we're back to Martini stripes!!

I think a subtle stripe down the side would look brilliant on a black gt3 - I think the shape of the stripes above would suit the car better than the official Martini 991 they did:

And you could definitely do without the whole bonnet/roof thing!

Go for it braddo (and I guess if the GT3 looks good, you'll be looking for a bigger set for your other car, no?)

Stripes don't get much better than Martini imo.

Aircooled 911s are usually met with some animosity these days, but this is a full-fat wibble.
