Not sure if serious?

I would imagine that an estate version of the XE isnt far behind given thats the format its main rivals offer as well.
That's the old XF, isn't it? I assume he means the new one. smile
yes

The XF Estate is rumoured to NOT be replaced, and you can't order them anymore, it's all existing stock.
On the roadmap for the next two years, Jag has no estate. Only the F-pace, but that doesn't really count in my book smile.

That's a shame. I'd be interested in both an XE or XF estate, but not an F-Pace - I don't want an SUV. Still, fingers crossed anyway!

It would seem an odd decision to not replace the XF estate. Estates in that segment generally sell very well and I certainly see plenty of the old model around. I suppose I can see the point that crossovers are eating into the traditional estate marketplace, though.

Seems a mistake to me maybe because I'm lusting after xf estates at the moment.

There is no updated xf on the configurator just saloon.

I just bought an outgoing model for a massive discount.
I think with the new xe and xf and the fact pace coming soon, jaguar has enough on its plate.
Estates only sell in Europe, they don't in the US or Asia so despite them being popular here, they're apparently not worth the effort.

Will be renting one of these when I hit the UK next week. Quite interested in what i'll be like. Probably just a bog spec model but 390 quid for ten days was a bit of a bargain.

Our XE 180d R Sport has been the most disappointing vehicle we've ever owned. It's got 13 months left on the PCP and we can't wait to get rid of the PoS.

Really. If you're not the market for a small exec, consider BM / Audi / Merc / Skoda way, way ahead of the lump that is the XE.

Not only is it "meh" to drive, in the 18 months we've had the displeasure of owning it, it's been to the dealers at least a dozen times to fix faults that really shouldn't have been there in the first place, or should have been fixed at the first visit. At its last trip to the dealer, the collection driver turned up with 3 printed pages of faults and recalls to be fixed while it was in.

That's disappointing to hear.
The xf has been faultless, 2 years old and about 50k miles in.
Very good car and gets compliments everywhere I go, even if it is a boggo rep spec diesel.

Wouldn't mind another one.

Sadly, yes. We were desperate to love it having traded a F30 BMW 320d M Sport x drive for it.

In every measurable way, the BMW was a far, far superior car.

The last model XF was developed in the time honoured Jaguar way though, the basic platform has been in production in some shape or form since 1999 so even Jaguar managed to have it sorted after 15 years.

When you think about how good your XF has been remember the poor fkers who bought an S-Type between 1999 and 2003, or an S-Type, XJ or XF with the wky and problematic 2.7 version of the diesel engine. Their sacrifice allowed Jaguar to finally crack it in time for you to buy one in 2015.

Same as the X300, which was only any good because they'd spent 9 years ironing out the bugs on the poor fkers who bought an XJ40.

This all bodes well for someone buying whatever they lash up out of the XE in 2027 or so.

Really? My F31 BMW 330d M Sport X Drive has been pants.

I drove an XE recently and it was a much better drive. The chassis was in a different league. And don't start me off about the appalling road noise in the F30/1.
