3 things you Love & Hate about your car..
Discussion
F10 M5
Love
The stealth look/the build quality and toys
The way it glides along the road when you want it to
The way goes like a rocket ship when you want it to - 0-100mph in 7.8 seconds can be soooo much fun when allowed
Hate
Having now had the car for 16 months and 16k miles I really, really can't find anything I dislike about the M5. I look forward to every drive and I'm taking it to Le Mans and then around Italy for three weeks over the summer.............can't wait!
If Calsberg made the best saloon car in the world the F10 M5 would 'probably' be on the short list

Love:
1. The performance! (warp factor acceleration)
2. The sound! (The V10 is intoxicating)
3. The feel good factor (luxury, toys, quality feel)
Hate:
1. The small fuel tank
2. The poor mpg
3. Did I mention the poor fuel economy?
if fuel economy is one of your concerns, don't think you chose the right car did you Love:

No real complaint though as the car is truly epic and so utterly addictive to drive that I'm driving it far too much! (all social driving as I use public transport to commute into the city).

Haha. .. think 'hate' is probably the wrong choice of word! Was just going with the general theme of the thread.

Impreza Turbo Wagon (running about 300bhp)
Love:
-the flat four burble
-all weather performance
-small dimensions/low weight by modern standards
Hate
-the fact I spend £60/week on SUL
-it needs a new clutch
-the fact it has rotting arches and that I'm probably going to blow ££££ getting them fixed and the whole car resprayed...

The Smile it puts on my face
Dislike:
The fact they're so rare & the values are starting to creep upwards so becoming aware of keeping the mileage low
Rare? I saw 5 C63's on an 18 mile stretch between Branton and Gainsborough yesterday....touring is my favourite!Like:

MKIV R32 Golf
Likes:
1) Engine noise - Even with a stock exhaust and a simple mod - It sounds great.
2) Speed - Definitely not one of the fastest cars on the road by a long shot. But it's got power when it needs it.
3) Interior. Seats are heated leather, comfortable driving position.
Hate:
1) Rattles - If it can rattle, it will.
2) Repair costs - Can be rather pricey. (For example - Timing chain can be ~£1000)
3) Space - Absolute minimal back seat space. Large, but shallow boot + no spare.
Undecided:
1) Fuel economy - Been getting around ~23mpg on every day runs. Worth it though.
