I've never leased a car, and don't know either of the people we're talking about, but I suspect that Ling would be a more entertaining dinner guest than Mike Brewer. She sounds fun.
I'm just back from Peru 2 days ago. I was eating donkey noses. Delicious:Get cooking

Never heard of ling. So I looked at her website. Are her lease deals that good? Had a quick look at what else was available, and seems as if it's a close call.
I'll resolutely defend my business, and be very open and frank when discussing details. Who else (in the motor industry) will be as open? No-one, that's who. -Ling

If you annoyed by explanations, don't read this.
It's never a good idea to try and be the absolute cheapest on every car deal, or on anything... because service will suffer, unless you are ULTRA efficient and have some inside advantage. I simply have the best service in the UK industry. My online response times (measured as an average over the last 4 working hours) are shown boldly on the right side of my website. They are consistently less than 5-minutes. Competitors can't usually manage 5-hours, and dealers can easily exceed 5-days. I am moving to a 100% live system, in working hours. It's difficult, but will be the only UK company in the motor industry doing that.
Look, I deliver what I say I will deliver. My customers (thousands a year) are very very happy, there will be many reading this.
If you want the "cheapest" from competitors like Mike Brewer Leasing - now closed it seems - (and many display car deals ex-VAT, or hide 6 payments up front or don't disclose who they are, or don't have https internet portals for the sensitive info, don't have Extended Validation, son't have secure repositories for things like Driving Licence images - they use email and print them out... plus my deals are always just 3 up front and my LINGO system is secure and superb), - then get yourself one of those non-existent deals that are advertised on Contract Hire and Leasing site. They are REAL, surely? Mike Brewer used an off the shelf web system he rented to display his cars, and if was any good it would have been taking me to the cleaners, but it's not. Many other companies just display the same old stuff, and work for thin unsustainable margins. Which is why they go bust... that helps no-one. My website is uttery bespoke, self-written and is award-winningly good. Even the chicken. Wear sunglasses.
My combination of price, service and consistent quality is the best in the UK. That's what people want. I have 160,000 unique visitors a month and in January did £87k gross profit (equivalent to over £1m GP a year) which explains the massive difference between the net worth of LINGsCARS.com Ltd compared to Mike Brewer Motors Ltd (despite his TV presence), so without annoying everyone too much, it's fairly obvious that not everyone is looking for the "cheapest".
I'll resolutely defend my business, and be very open and frank when discussing details. Who else (in the motor industry) will be as open? No-one, that's who.

Can it stop now ?
Another barometer of Mike Brewer from his recent tweets?
mikebrewer: "Leaving @O2 and waiting for someone to offer a good package...c'mon @VodefonUK @TMobile @EE come get me"
ThreeUK: "@mikebrewer Excellent, excellent point ;-) What are you looking for?"
mikebrewer: "@threeuk a special VIP deal"
FFS - these third-rate celebrities feel they are owed some kind of preferential treatment - how very James and Ola Jordan
I used to like, actually probably a bit strong, I was indifferent to Mike Brewer - recent exposure to him on Twitter has swayed me to think he is indeed an ahole in real life!

It's an explanation. I don't want to advertise, I was simply explaining. There is a cost/benefit equation like in most things in life. If it was all down to cheapness, everyone on PH would drive a Citroen C1.Can it stop now ?
Get real.

Ling - why no Maserati?
Good point. I think it's the issue with them being worth 5p after 3-years that might make the rates a bit too expensive.
In truth, I don't like to do bespoke cars (anything above, say RR Sport), as if a customer cancels or dies or gets made redundant or something, where do I go with a specially ordered Maserati with personalised trim colours?
Maseratis are fairly specialised st.

This thread was... Interesting, but it needs Mike to comment, or a bullet.
Certainly wouldn't want it to vanish in a fit of legalese should Haymarket get spooked by Mike's lawyers.
Send any legal letters to me, I'll publish them.
