A car still on the lift? There's a story there.
Looks like a Honda Accord to me. I think that's what it is. Or a Rover 600 maybe?

Used to pass this regularly, but at some point in the past 12 months or so it has closed. Looked like a wonderful quirky place and I always intended to stop and have a closer look; too late now!

Rather charming disused filling station in Uyeasound. The potential for environmental catastrophe is fairly obvious.

Would someone help me out with display of this?

Station on a single track road with passing places near Harlesden in S.Norfolk (this was just over the border in Suffolk near Metfield)

Looked unused, decrepit, faded hoses etc apart from the fuel supplier sign, which looks quite fresh, and is a current regional fuel supplier. A path led to the lhs to a house but it seemed inappropriate to follow it and ask more. Maybe someone local could follow up?

We've heard tell of it.

Can’t remember I’m afraid. It popped up on a FB group a while ago and I saved it for this thread but didn’t make a note of the location frown

Llanrug. Mentioned early on but pictured half way down page 5. Nice to see it again though.

Mr Roper mentioned it as he lives nearby. He owns a pub. We could visit.

Just saying.

Talking of Wales (were we?) this is another we discovered on a recent holiday, just a bit north of Cardigan but out on the coast road leading to...well, nowhere really. Apart from a few secluded beaches and camp site or three;

- and by the wonders of google here it is in 2009;

Check the Mondeo. I think the pumps are in the back.

Penybontfawr, Wales.

I’ve known of this place in the Tanat Valley for years - stopped dispensing fuel long ago but the repairs side of the business is still going.

It's an ill wind etc etc

Fancying a trendy oak garage to adorn the front garden, I typed "oak garage" into Google.

among the many trendy oak garages found was Oak Garage.

It's in Waldringham in Suffolk. The pumps no longer work apparently. I checked on Google Maps and this is the latest view.
