My daily is a bit of a crap box, no starting issues but it's the best I can afford right now and does everything I need it to do. Maybe offer to lend the guy a hand instead of critique next time.

Bet my crap box is crappier than your crap box! (03 Focus cigarette burns (not mine), runs lumpy, dents everywhere)

Anyway, just cos someone drives a crap box, doesn't mean they have to be a complete bell end, 17 minutes constantly turning the ignition ffs. The only way I could help would be to recommend calling a garage, but surely someone with few brain cells could figure that out, non?

The car isn't fit for the road (note smashed WINDSCREEN), doubt very much its MOT'd (and if its not MOT'd....)

You can check online if it's MOT-ed.

The idiot in an Audi Q3 the other day, on a lovely wide road, with sweeping turns & dips,NSL (but ideal for a ton up hoon if it were not for MOD plod everywhere), going at 40, max, and even braking at every car coming the other way. Just put your bloody foot down!

He eventually turned off, and I went another way to the same destination, my way is a mile longer & I got stuck behind the local bus, but I still beat him there!

I know,I know,"Its a limit not a target" but some just take the piss

Can you ask him what kind of battery he has? I could use a new one, and that sounds like a trooper.

Cock socket in a Golf this morning who I met on a narrow country lane. I had pulled as far over as I could, without risking getting stuck in a ditch, leaving plenty of room for him to come past. However when he came past he gave me a coffee bean sign, signalled for me to move over more then blared his horn as he drove past at speed. Why go postal when there's plenty of room?

The school parents that park and obscure your neighbours drive, and when confronting them and explaining their parking is inconsiderate to have an attitude off the woman and a load of bull excuses from the bloke, like I was only there 5 minutes or I don't do it normally, also to completely ignore the comment of parking further up the road and walking further, and also when mentioning that if someone did it to their drive they would also be annoyed and to respond with that they also have it done to them is a valid excuse rofl oh and then to say my nieghbour could get off the drive still even if it meant driving off the kerb is completely fine, I lost my rag at the end and stooped low enough to call him a knob, but it made me feel better to belittle him after the attitude I got, I felt bad after but I'm hot headed and speak before I think.

people that move near a school and then complain that school stuff happens nearby, regardless of whether that stuff is right or wrong?

Don't feel bad, FEEL GOOD. This was probably the first time they were challenged, so it needed doing. Lesson learned? I doubt it.

Regardless of the geography or the history, parking inconsiderately is knobbish. School or not.

yea fair enough, but is that not a bit like living near a railway line and getting annoyed at the trains?

No, because trains are confined to rails. People parking like twunts aren't.

Hold on a minute, I've not complained about "school stuff" I'm completely fine with all the parents that park all around the area, as long as people are considerate, that goes for everybody, it just happens to be parents picking kids up from school that are the most inconsiderate out of everyone in my experience, blocking someone's drive is not acceptable end of.

Your comment on whether it's right or wrong is stupid, so it gives the parents right to park where and how they like because their kids go to the nearby school?

Your reference to the train line is also wrong, it would be more like moaning that train drivers caught short where taking a dump in your back garden and that I shouldn't moan because it is part of living by a railway line whether what they do is wrong or not silly

I'd like to think it's more like my neighbour saying something stupid and then not being man enough to admit he's wrong.

The Isle of Man Motorbike TT races are on at the moment aren't they?

I can tell because the semi final rounds seem to be being held in the mainland. Particularly my street.
