What a horrible looking car, like somebody has sat on a Qashqai. I saw something brilliant once, I'm not brave enough to do this myself, a car went into the merging lane to block people merging and the car that was behind the knob in the queuing lane undertook him and made him lose his place in the queue, did make me laugh and resulted in a very angry knob.

Yes, the time you would have saved (5 or 6 car lengths) makes it well worth uploading this image. He's a dick.
However, I do believe 'use both lanes' signs, followed by 'merge in turn' signs help regularise the issue.

Just man-spreading, probably Trump or Putin. Chillax. (Road capacity is not reduced, vehicles can only go through in single file).

How do you know that the queue behind isn't backing up and blocking a junction? Perhaps an ambulance is trying, but failing, to get through the longer queue created by this dick? However, I do believe 'use both lanes' signs, followed by 'merge in turn' signs help regularise the issue.
Whatever, he is a dick.

I have done that. The person I nipped round was indeed extremely angry. It amused me in a rather boring queue. Usually I go round. Tried that in this instance but he blocked even more. Luckily the woman next to me saw his spot open and blocked him out. He showed his true colours by then beeping her and hurling abuse at her out the window.
I did manage to sneak round one a few months back the last time it happened. He was not happy at all. Haha
The knob who was riding a dirt bike far too small for him through our local woods. A few other people who were also walking their dogs had said he'd almost hit them and their dogs. Heard him coming, and he shot past narrowly missing a woman with her two toddlers. Complete bell end.
When he came past again I did have a slightly heated exchange with him (probably used a few words I shouldn't have with the kids nearby), he offered to settle it with fists.... then shot off again before I could take him up on his kind offer. Seems like he went home after that, as didn't hear him again.
It wasn't even a 'yoof', he looked like he was about 30.
I get that people want to ride their dirt bikes, but doing it in a wooded place with lots of children and dogs roaming free is idiotic. I don't even care that it's illegal, just at least take it somewhere less risky.

Driving around town yesterday, being tailgated by a woman in a Fiat 500. And I mean PROPERLY tailgated - I could only see the top of her head in my rear view mirror.
At one point, I thought she might be wanting to go faster (I was doing the speed limit already), so when we got to a dual-carriageway stretch (going up a hill), I stayed in the left (crawler) lane. She sat in the right hand lane, doing the exact same speed. In the end, she dropped back, which I am putting down to the 500's inability to climb hills at any kind of pace.
Thinking I'd got shot of her, I carried on about my business. Two roundabouts later, she was right up my chuff again.
I drive a pretty big car, the back end of which would have destroyed her little Fiat, should I have needed to brake in an emergency.
She wasn't being aggressive, didn't want to pass me, and didn't appear to be in a hurry. It struck me that she genuinely thought being inches from the car in front was perfectly fine.
Which made me think - this is probably more dangerous than those people who tailgate to be aggressive/want to pass. At least they KNOW what they are doing. This woman was happy in her own little world, glued to the back of my motor, utterly oblivious.
