That's a fantastic reduction in lap time. I guess this is the point where we have to be careful what we wish for - hope the improved laptime doesn't come at the expense of the amazing ride/handling compromise of the old car. But amazing ride/handling doesn't sell cars as we've seen, pub Top Trumps does smile
As a Norfolk Boy who grew up there in the days of the JPS Specials, I am a huge fan. As someone who has owned 3, I am a huge fan. But, and it's a but I don't really want to deploy, as a few previous posters have said, Lotus haven't been clear about whether they are comparing times set by original Evora on the pre-Bahar test track, or on the new, billiard-table smooth track. I really hope it's the latter, in which case once again doff my cap to the magicians and wizards they employ at Hethel.

And aside from the lap time, if the re-engineered tub is easier to get in and out of, hats off to them and I hope they sell boatloads! I loved my Evora when I had it, and part of that was the feeling of exclusivity - you didn't see many others on the road, so people did look twice/stare (and in a good way). However, that selfish feeling of wellbeing was tempered by the knowledge that the reason people looked twice was because it was as rare as dinosaur turds, because is wasn't selling. I'd forsake the second looks for Lotus selling boatloads of the new one (or the Evora remaining the discerning choice whilst they sell phenomenal numbers of the 4x4!).

Stream of consciousness over. Thank you for listening.

Shame it looks so sh*t though eh? if this had the GTE look, it'd sell more, without a doubt.
