Sorry no pictures I'm afraid.

Often I see cars with a little barcode sticker on the rear windows, anyone any idea what they're for? They generally always seem to be newer cars, my best guess might be something to do with leasing and the renter/driver not bothering being able or bothered to take it off.

Anyone shed any light?

Cars that go through auction I believe get a barcode, although the last one I had was on the front windscreen.

They did once put an IQ through as an Aston Martin though, check out lady got the sack for that one.

Hertz rental cars.

When you off-hire one, the staff scan the barcode to get the details of the rental, car, etc.

All the cars at Fords of Winsford near us have one on, something to do with their stock management with having so many cars.

This may be the case with other car supermarkets too?

They're sourced from BCA. The lazy valeters at the Dealership haven't bothered to take them off.
