Epic and great to see Lambo almost intact from encroachment. Though they just can't quite leave it alone:

"Rather more worryingly Lamborghini has also fitted its variable rack/variable assistance Dynamic Steering from the Huracan (via Audi)."

The only activity Audi should be involved in is quality control.

The fact it is less that three secs behind the 918 says much about Lambo and even more about Porsche.

This is of course your choice but eternal life only applies to green, but Orange in Japan symbolises courage and love so still very positive!

Is it me, or do these not sound a good as the Diablo and Murcielago?

Of course, I can hardly comment from just seeing videos, but doesn't seem to have the raucous bellow the older cars did.

I'm not saying it doesn't sound great, just not as good as the old engine....

I'll hold my hands up and say the video does not do the noise justice - it does sound absolutely mighty. It may be running at Goodwood so if you're there you should be able to get a first-hand impression. Worth it, believe me!

There was a lovely "standard" one taking part in a track day at Knockhill on Saturday morning. Looked and sounded fabulous!

Looks pretty good value compared to a P1, LaF or 918 even if it's not quite so advanced or accomplished.
I'd argue its more accomplished. Doesn't carry the same level of 'technology', all the better for it.

I know you're worried they're diluting the brand by making it safer, but VAG are saving most Lamborghini customers from themselves. I doubt more than a small percentage of owners take their cars on track days, and only a small percentage of owners push the car in corners.
Everything seems better than ever, and VAG have invested a lot of money to make sure Lamborghini are profitable.

1 of 600 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV at Denmark. Looks fantastic.

From the article:
This is the new Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV. ‘SV’ stands for ‘Super Veloce’ which basically means ‘super fast’ in Italian, and the car is indeed super fast. Now, the very first example of the supercar has been spotted by Danish car magazine Bilsektionen.dk as it’s located in a basement in Denmark.

You know, I've never really 'got' Lamborghini until now. I *love* the fact that they used old-school tech to get close enough to stroke the 918 time, putting all this marketing nonsense into perspective.

This car is one big, green, fk you.

Be even nicer with a gearbox which involved some driver input....
