I currently have a Honda S2000, the rarest standard colour in the UK market (probably worldwide too) is lime green.

Only seen a couple of 997's in this colour, as far as I can tell it's just called 'Porsche Green Metallic' (or is it Porsche Racing Green).

Looks lovely though..

Big cars, like this 7-er in Hundschwanzrot, don't normally look their best in red.

The same thought came to mind...

White looked better but still doesn't do such a superbly styled saloon any sort of justice...

Pink is unusual on most cars TBH.

There is a rather tired looking 996 near me in that colour, whenever I see it I always think to myself "that colour is bad enough on any car but why would anyone choose that colour on a Porsche".

Is that really called Dog's dick red? laugh

And that 75 is interesting. I wonder if they cancelled that colour when they moved production from Cowley to Longbridge.

A lass I know managed to blag a 205GTi through her employer's essential car user provision scheme (... I was well envious, it was the early 90s and Pug GTis were the dogs-whatnots). She ordered it in that colour and when it turned up I was somewhat underwhelmed- IMO it really didn't work as well as the other colours (when I eventually got one it had to be Graphite Grey cool )

There used to be a Topaz Blue 205 GTi that parked opposite my office every day. I didn't think much of the colour, I have to say.

Another rare one is the Saxo VTR in yellow, IIRC they were very rare, something like 100 models in the UK.
