Wow, you really have a bee in your bonnet don't ya
oh, and it doesn't weigh 2 tonnes before options if we're being picky
Yup i do, it's a missed opportunity and since they are worth £37K after 3 years when listing at £73K new other people clearly think they are not the real deal AND since they are amazing in every other respect i guess being fat does go against it!oh, and it doesn't weigh 2 tonnes before options if we're being picky

But the build quality and carrying ability isn't as great.
Having just traveled 2500 miles in Europe in mine with a wife and two young children, two reasonable cases full of clothes, three tennis rackets, 3 sets of fins and snorkels, table tennis bats, drone, large camera bag (weighs 30kg itself) full of kit, laptop, 55 DVD's for the journey (if not actually 55 it looked like 55 DVD's!). Several bags of shoes and food to keep a 5 year old and 10 year old happy on the journey I know which car I'd rather be in even if it is slightly slower
I didn't realise you owned one. I did think you were very supportive of it! I should have checked your garage! Hey, if it floats your boat (and i love that engine) then great, but for me £75,000 is a hell of a lot of wonga for any main maker saloon and scarily it loses almost £250 per WEEK every week in depreciation alone for the first 4 years; so if bought new or nearly new is one of the most expensive 'daily' cars to run. I am pleased you love the car but i couldn't afford to lose money hand over fist like that.Having just traveled 2500 miles in Europe in mine with a wife and two young children, two reasonable cases full of clothes, three tennis rackets, 3 sets of fins and snorkels, table tennis bats, drone, large camera bag (weighs 30kg itself) full of kit, laptop, 55 DVD's for the journey (if not actually 55 it looked like 55 DVD's!). Enough! I promise!
That's OK. I understand you know you've lost You don't just have to take my word for it, they really are a great, great car.
To make something quicker you build in lightness I agree but the M5 (even the 30 year version) is fine as it is - a great all round family fecking fast/great to drive/great to listen to/great to tour Europe and as I said.........all round car....
