The only thing more ridiculous than some of these more recently posted plates is the morons who pop up on this thread from time to time to defend the chavs who fitted them.

You have to really wonder what's going through the mind of someone who thinks that messing around with their plate looks anything but ridiculous.

I saw K155 JO.M on the back of some Skoda thing the other day.
As I drove past, I expected to see some 25 year old female texting and checking herself in the mirror, bit weird seeing some 65 year old looking geezer driving.

Another one wrongly posted on the Real Good thread:

And yes that is the correct username, I haven't edited that.

The thing that baffles me with this one, is that it's a decent plate without the dodgy spacing, just for the sake of the 'RR'

Their feeble Ego can't cope with not being 'special'. This applies to anyone who has to buy a vanity registration, illegal or otherwise. Any vanity registration is simply an Ego wk for the owner.

Not so much crappy as hilarious oversight - this bloke is a motorsport (and so F1) fan and is called Stu S. However, he appears to have been oblivious to what his plate also spells roflroflrofl

Yep, it would be a shame if someone were to accidently swap those black caps out for a set of the correct yellow ones wouldn't it whistlehehe

I automatically assumed he meant it to read F15T US.

Stretching a viewpoint way to far to pretend the vast majority of numberplates spell anything at all IMO.

That's not what they are intended for and even the thickest kid in the remedial English class at your local primary school will know numbers aren't a feature of the alphabet and you can't make any words by using them.

Very crappy!
Agree crappy - and illegal due to font, but possibly not due to size. There is a little known exception to the sizing regulations for imports, details here:-

Ventured deep into The Badlands today... vomit

V008 - Range Rover
F11Y ME - Range Rover
K 80USE - Fiat
P70 AP - White Geeezahz builders pickup truck
B05 3 DGB

As only to be expected in Essex there was a relentless parade of others too, including a risible attempt at something like ELLIE on a Audi A3 and PATTIE on a otherwise quite tasty Mustang in Maldon and a completely illegible weird fonted plate on a Mondeo but by lunchtime I'd decided five Chavplates was really enough to keep in my head for one day. biggrin
