Man, that's so deep.

A bit like those council types who have equally deep/meaningful phrases on the bedroom wall above the bed.

Yeah, fully agree,

Butchering the G to look like an O has gone just too far.

W15E JJ on a Kia Sportage.

Although JJ's plate suggested he was wise, the fact he was driving around with a flat passenger side rear tyre would say otherwise.

I can only assume that mis-spacing is now legal, or at the very least simply 'frowned upon' but no action. Whereas doctoring an 'A' to look like '8' for example, is still illegal.

I say this as I must have counted 20 mis-spaced plates on a current journey of 40 miles, not to mention the frequency of them in this thread.

How can so many people do it? Has there been a mass blanket rule lifted but not made public?!

I remember reading a while back that there were proposals to make it illegal to use bolts within the area of the lettering. Did anything come of this?

Belongs to a frequent poster on PH.

Would be more amusing with a Birmingham postcode.

Has anyone had the misfortune of meeting someone with a crap plate like this, and then asking why they do it?

I wonder what goes though people's heads when then come up with the idea of using a cap to form another letter, surely all these cars will be a fail come the first MOT?
No thought involved. They just do it. Without a care in the world.

HAT3R - on a white BMW 3 series, shame really as they'd spaced it how I've typed it.
