A masterful job this one, DE5 2 TUF

It might refer to the postcode area, DE5?

I'm not sure whether this plate should go in here or in the Good Plates thread for sheer imagination, but I have just seen a black Audi adorned with:

Well if that's how it's spaced then it's not crappy ... poor spelling though, so I'll put it in that thread smile

A few from the weekend,

W15H UU - on a Merc convertible
JJ 04 ENG - white Range Rover
L11N HC - white BMW
MR5 5 VAL - can't remember
K100 M X - Porsche Cayenne (the reg must be K10 OMX)

You do have to wonder why they bother! Especially the last one confused

Where do we stand on normal, ok plates that are put on the old school silver on black ? saw a G wagon locally with these on, driver leant over pimp style talking into a hand held mobile "PEN 77Y".

Apart from the fact it's a really lame attempt to read "C U" by way of crappy spacing, hence why it's on the crappy plates thread getmecoat

If you want to be pedantic is actually meant to say "jzx cu" as it's a toyota chaser jzx100, nothing to do with or reading it as " see you" as there'd be a space between the "c and u" if it were the case as they're two separate words. It's on a jap sized plate so doesn't look st, the only letter that's out of place is the "x". Compared with some of the ste that's on this thread, its okay imo.

OH NO, you're going to get people claiming that no one outside of Japan would know what a JZX is and now you've made them aware J2X will be slagged off as not being close enough to JZX or 2JZ

Cool car though!!

yes If a number plate is illegal in any shape or form then it can't be anything but a Chavplate.

Illegal plates aren't supplied automatically or by accident. It's just a unassailable fact that the Platee must have knowingly and deliberately ignored the frequently repeated legal requirements all the way through the purchase and manufacturing process to actually acquire one.

That tells you all you need to know about both illegal plates and anybody choosing to display one...Or quite possibly not displaying one, as the latest fad among the mouth breathing swamplife drawn to these wretched things appears to be a outbreak of front plates suddenly falling off and rather than being immediately smashed to bits by following traffic they invariably end up entirely unmarked and stuffed right behind the nearside windscreen wiper in a strategically chosen position that makes it absolutely impossible to read.

Chav is as Chav does.

Not around Bristol, perhaps?
There are a lot of GAS registrations as Rovers fans are known as Gasheads.
