so yes, for sure it qualifies for this thread... but I quite like that!
I agree. Most of the illegal plates on here make the car look worse overall than a standard legal plate would, but this one, despite being illegal, does look pretty good in my opinion.

Struggled to figure this one out - it's either GDS 305S or GD53 OSS. Either way it's crappy.

Like drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa, should be made to hand the keys back.

I don't get it at all - how is it supposed to be read ? Is it a 3 litre ? Does the SS mean something ? Presumably the GDS are initials ? Baffling as well as crap.

I reckon he’s the owner of a company called GDS and he couldn’t get BO55 GDS.

Have to agree actually getmecoat Much as I loathe illegally spaced plates, this one’s quite amusing (and relevant).

I doubt if a person who puts a plate spaced like that on his car (and it will be a ‘him’), will have much capacity for thinking.

For one thing it’s literally begging for a tug from any traffic copper with a spare moment - even more so than lots of less vulgar messed-with plates that are equally illegal.

You'd think so but given the blatancy of plate butchery these days I get the impression the Police don't give a fig or have other things to do.

If the plate is properly displayed/laid out/font then I think it's a great plate.

GD53 OSS apparently.

So he's blatantly just changed the 5 to an S, awful.

In the early 80s, I remember seeing 4 COF for sale in the Thames Valley Trader (as it was then) ... cn't remember how much though. On an old Standard 8 or something ...

It's on a 2012 silver Mercedes now ... slightly more subtle than the one above I think ...
