R100 HRH on a supercharged Range Rover.

Surely no genuine royal would have an HRH plate?
Of course not.

Somebody with serious delusions of grandeur wanting to give the impression they're somehow related to Mrs Queen might well do though.
Could be someones initials I suppose ?
Isn't the queen's the only car without a plate?
It's only the official state limos that don't wear plates. There are two used generally - both Bentleys - plus a few in the Royal Mews, RRs and Daimlers, that occasionally get rolled out for big events.

SOD 1T would make sense if you had to drive a 106 as a daily! biggrin

Unless it was a GTi or Rallye.

Saw the London Mayors Office car (massive Bentley or Roller, can't remember) a few weeks ago and that has LMO as the plate. Is that a proper plate?

I’ve always assumed it was a special issue specifically for The Lord Mayor, like the Zambian Ambassador has ZAM 1 for example.

AFAIK the letter Z was never used on Mainland registration plates until the current system began in Sept 2001 so that would have been a special too.

On the other hand the Brazilian Embassy has BRZ 1 for their Ambassador & was apparently never originally issued in NI.

New Zealand Embassy have NZ 1 & NZ 2 & Czech Ambassador has 1 CZE.

None of that is at all relevant to LMO question, just useless info I’ve gathered for some reason!!

M5TR J - Renault box van.

S7P CO - Vivaro van advertising a company called STP (not the motor oil one)

NA61LA R - BMW 1 Series.

FA51AL U - BMW 3 Series convertible, he'd taken the front plate off (left the velcro strips he'd had holding it on) and had the letters stuck on to the front bumper (the car's white) It looked awful!

Saw this from the back of an Uber a couple of weeks ago and thought of you guys. Couldn't get a great pic but look at the way it's cut out, like it's been hacked at by some kid who just discovered a jigsaw. Also that AMG badge has zero business being there.

AMG means nothing these days. My Mum's B class has an AMG badge on it and as far as I can tell it means it has leather seats and alloy wheels.

Maybe they were inspired by Canadian North Western Territories' plates, that are shaped like a polar bear.
