Ooh, quandary... ...if he could but leave the spacing alone that would be a decent "sleeper plate".
Illegal spacing or not anybody who thinks you can spell anything with numbers is descending to the same level of terminal illiteracy number plate Chavs come from.

I’m not in the same frame of mind as you. Certain numbers do work on a plate fine for me. Illegal spacing or not anybody who thinks you can spell anything with numbers is descending to the same level of terminal illiteracy number plate Chavs come from.
For example CA11 in the correct font does look like Call. Spaced correctly and with a proper three letter word after it can make a good plate.
It also works for other combinations such as Ba, Pu, Se, etc

Using numbers in a manner to pretend they look like letters is no different to using fake tan to pretend its a real one or wearing a fake Rolex and pretending its real or having fake exhaust tips or brake cooling ducts pretending they're actually connected to anything. As well as that everybody who's made it past the English remedial class at primary school knows for sure you can't use numbers to spell anything.
Anybody who rises above all this pretentious Chav tat can see they aren't actually real at all but there's a obviously a mentality that likes to pretend these things are real in order to impress the more hard of thinking who can't see them for the pretense they are.
No matter how you pitch it using numbers as a substitute for letters on number plates in an risible attempt to spell words is nothing more than pretentious and illiterate and automatically defines anybody attempting to do so as pretentious and illiterate themselves.
