Good grief - I think the registration is the least of the owner's problems.

If i were B3N, I'd be concerned that someone appears to have stolen 3.1 litres of engine displacement from his AMG Mercedes!

That's so council. I don't think you'd see that in Mansfield it's so bad.

A couple of gems after some car browsing earlier on:

eBay seller of a Hartge tuned Mini Cooper S said:
...car comes with number plate HA51TGA - which reads as Hartge - as Hartge is pronounced as Hartga in English
Not quite sure that plate does read what he thinks it does, but never mind hehe

Then two for the price of one with another Mini GP ( M11Y GP ) and a BMW (top left) featuring AB08 BMW with a bit of a gap between the A & B in an attempt to read A BOB BMW.

Reminds me just what ugly, cluttered fronts these GPs have. Horrible.

Saw a strange one in Edinburgh yesterday D13SEL.

What I thought was odd was that it was on a de-badged Audi. Why go to the bother of having all the the badges removed so that you can't easily identify the model and then tell everyone in big letters that it's a diesel version ?

According to the rules it is. RAP 10 Misspaced?
The Category 3 Plates thread for this one I think.
I agree. Minor mis-spacing, no attempt to bodge the O into a D.

There's a Chrysler PT Cruiser seen around Chelmsford in the Essex Badlands that makes that ghastly abomination look positively subtle and restrained...

Seems very strange.

Same day a White Bentley Continental in Chippenham with BRD 80Y with the letters adjusted to desperately try to look like Bad Boy

Cars like that are rare, but there does seem to be a type that loves stick on chrome stuff, Mercs are a favourite, 300C's, PT Cruisers amongst others.

That's not uncommon on PT Cruisers. There's a DB7 around here (South Cheshire) that is heading the same way - not quite as bad, but far more stick-on chrome than is necessary on a DB7 (which is none, IMO).

A diesel Jag XF pulled up next to me at some lights last week (had my window down, so could hear the engine).

As we pulled away, I noted the plate : G2 XFR

Even had a "R" badge on the bootlid, bless nuts
