HGN 72C a rare White and blue Ariel Arrow. Rare because it was a 200cc not 250.

M233 MNA - Green Audi 80 that seems to have met it's end in 2010 sadly, would've loved to have found it and rebought it.

R142 VJA - purpley blue Polo that replaced the Audi, highly doubt that's still about either.

I remember all my Dad's registrations from about 1965 till I left home in 1979. I'm not disclosing them though, I find them very handy as bases for passwords as they are reasonably complicated
and remembered only by me.

Company car, he picked it up the morning we went on holiday to the Lakes, can remember people pointing and shouting ‘T REG!’, as one did in the days of once a year registrations.

Can only remember C310 VOY, a Vauxhall Cavalier. I think it was blue. Must be 25 years ago.

Thanks! Looking into it my dad definitely was the last owner as be scrapped it, not as long ago as I thought. Looked like he owned it from 1999 to 2002. I remember it being a little bit naff but my dad was proud of it all the same.

HDU 900L - Chrysler 180 Auto, red with vinyl roof, dreadful thing
Passat GLS - can't remember number
URG 409T - Bronze Scirroco GLS
DTY 211W - Metallic Red Scirroco GLS
PFT 71Y - New shape Scirroco GL in silver
...the for some strange reason I could never recall the numbers after the numbering system changed
?? - Metallic black Scirroco GTX
?? Audi Coupe 5 cyl in white with black door rings - that was a nice car with a lovely warble
....and lots of Audis thereafter, non memorable

NYC351L Beige Talbot Avenger with matching vinyl interior. Only one I can remember as the number plate had to be removed when a tow bar was fitted to haul my schoolboy scrambler around. Ended up getting sticky ones to stick above the bumper

I still do even if it is twice a year. Shouting "70" or "21" is not quite the same. Thankfully had a 13 and a 16 on March 1 so have been able to enjoy others doing the same.
