Has anyone on here got one that's been fettled by Litchfield? Intrigued to know how it drives. Because I'd bloody love one of these, but would only get one with the intention of charging it. And £4.5k odd (inc. VAT) seems like a reasonable package. Cheaper than Cosworth's equivalent at least...
As previously posted I have a 3 year old Primo, base car in OZ. 30,000 Kms and it is just great, not one thing has gone wrong. More than the Cosworth turbo I would like to read a review on their stage 1 kit. They make + 30 hp at the top but make + 40 at a lower RPM point which means the percentage torque improvement is even greater. I have a Milltek resonated primary cat back and I can report that the torque improvement in my car makes it much much better to drive, you can overtake in 6th and 3rd has enough torque to make the rear playfull around town. Makes for lovely driving without really being up it. This is also on tyres that are stickier than the original. A very low level of mods but a great result. I have fitted aftermarket HID bulbs to the headlights. Mats are fine.

M4 is fantastic but at its best on track. Preferably a dry, smooth track... On the road it feels a bit much, so you can't actually drive that hard. GT86 excels as a road car and that's why it works so well. many threads on here are addressing fun vs outright speed. M4 no doubt exceptionally capable, but not as engaging?

The units on the 86 we have are excellent.
In OZ the base car, the GT (primo for you), comes with halogen high and low, the GTS comes with HID low beam and halogen high. The standard GT low beam is a bit weak, the high is OK. The highs have better than standard bulbs, I assume it shares these with the GTS. Mine are now excellent, the GT's headlights can be adjusted from the dashboard. On country road I can sneak the low beam cut off up to just the right point, very nice.The units on the 86 we have are excellent.

can top that... 1491 miles in 2 days! i was fine throughout and at the end, quiet spanish, french and swiss roads helped.Post here.
Certainly not what the 86 is made for, and if the surface is less than v good (spain) then it's tiresome, but the seats were great and the one thing better than other cars i've done the same trip on.

Really hoping the used market for these get in the price range I'll be looking at in the next 3-5 years. You can get pick them up for £15K now with low mileage so looking promising.
I know it's extremely unlikely but my worry is that they'll go the way of S2000s & you won't be able to find a low to regular mileage, unmolested, clean example for less than £9K.

Thankfully it was sunny empty roads, stress-free even pleasant.
