What was amazing about it? Other than the car in the video, that was maybe 50% of what channels with 5% of the subscribers put out. Guys with a fraction of the budget.

Also not sure what all this TGE love seems to be on the last few pages? Multiple acounts or paid promotion? Haven't seen anything other than some walkarounds that appear to be a bit more upmarket because someone else is filming him and the cars are expensive. Nothing new there at all. I have huge respect for Shmee150 because the amount of work he has put into his channel is unreal and to do it on an almost daily basis shows huge commitment even if a lot of the content isn't very relatable.

Are we allowed to promote our own YouTube channels here?

I've taken to watching Misha Charoudin a lot recently. Didn't really follow the Boosted Boris videos but Misha puts some good stuff out there. Suppose its good promotion for the hotel he works at also.

I think "Brian" might have fallen into the trap of comparing lifestyle vlogging with full production reviews, aka Drive, Top Gear, Evo etc.

Different styles, different focus on content.

I see from Instagram that there is an "Influencers Tent" at this weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed where a number of the people discussed on this thread will be displaying their motorcars.

I wonder if the 'influencers' will be hanging around to greet the Great Unwashed or will they retreat to the guarded compound with the other celebs/drivers.
