I suspect you can get a lot of Youtube content and social media promotion for the cost of a single traditional TV or magazine advert.
Exactly this. Youtubers/influencers are fantastic tools to marketers right now and hugely undervalued on a whole. What would £200k get you in TV advertising? And what percentage of the viewers will even be your target audience? Not much. £200k spent with vloggers/influencers will get your more views, better engagement, more data, and ultimately won't be lost after one broadcast.
The future is very bright for these influencers. Expect 'My first Hypercar' videos to come in the next few years.
You don't have to watch the whole thing, just the first few minutes, interesting to see actual numbers from someone on how much they're making:

~£40k a month "just" making videos about messing about with your cars doesn't seem like a bad way to spend your days, I have to say, and he's getting those numbers with half the subscriptions of Shmee and a very simple vlogging format.

There is clearly huge variation. Baron Von grumble recently stated it's about £1000 per a million views.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeB--rmbs2o

Yes, my UK-based friend who has a smaller (2-3k subs) channel says that guy is getting 4x the ad payouts he would for those views. It's definitely not linear or something you can read across to others.I was more pointing out that it's a good example because you actually see his analytics revenue page, so it is real, people can make good money from this stuff.

Even 10k per month isn't too shabby.
Hah, yeah, bit more than I earn!I posted it more because there seems to be a few people who will always say you can't earn the kind of money making Youtube videos to fund what's in the videos, and I think - in certain circumstances, if you know how to leverage the way the platform works - you really can.

Great video, pal. To be fair, I can see why some people may dislike your style, but that's because some people are resentful and toxic. I see a wealthy guy enjoying life and enjoying cars. Hats off to you sir!
Haha cheers pal. At Goodwood Saturday so possibly see some of you there!Kenny Powers said:

About you? Have a good day, and remember, negativity breeds bad outcomes

That pretty much translates to 'if people don't like you, they're wrong...'It's a sad state of affairs when being critical of someone who puts themselves out there on social media can only be a result of jealousy.
That's the sort of thing school children use to argue against opposing opinions.
