One for the book, I'm afraid, if I ever get round to writing it...
Haha, well, fair play on skirting whatever the "agreement" was that generated that particular situation! But yes, your videos are great, even if the new cars don't interest me as much as the older ones. Any chance of one on the 1960s, 2005, and current Ford GT/GT40?

Thanks for kind words, enjoy doing them too but other (work) stuff keeps on getting in the way!
My thinking is to review a car only once, so I like to cover all the tech and experiences a car offers in the single vid.
Could you kindly review a v12 Vantage s manual ? I'd love to hear your opinion of it .My thinking is to review a car only once, so I like to cover all the tech and experiences a car offers in the single vid.
Not surprised a lot of the channels are seeing a drop in viewers. It's the same old content so at some point people start tuning out. Nowadays I rarely watch full videos, usually skip through and see if there's anything worth watching like I was really looking forward to SOL's review on the Perf but in typical SOL fashion the review was a dud and skipped through most of it. One channel which I thought was getting better was Seb's channel which had some good content last month but he's falling off again.

Has anyone else noticed in new car collection videos a group of awkward looking teenagers turn up with thier parents to watch and film? I found it quite distracting at the end of the latest TGE video.
Tbh, I find it heartwarming and enjoy when people take time out of their day to come have a chat and a look at what's going on like that. They're only being supportive. Nice group on Sunday, had an extensive natter with all of them.SJK said:

Hi TGE,
I've been watching your videos for a while and I was wondering if you had some sort of formal ties to Redline? It looks as though your F12 and GT3 RS are both listed for sale on their website? Do you have some sort of buy-back situation with them?
I'm going to be buying one of these silly cars next spring but I'm tight AF as don't really want to be losing any money in depreciation. So I'm interested in how you do it as you have stated in your vidoes that you do not really lose any money on them other than insurance costs etc.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

I think Mr JWW is an interesting case. In my view he is probably most creditable of the bunch. He has a natural presentation style, appears to be able to peddle a car reasonably well and he does put in some decent effort into his presentation style, but still has a long way to go before he can compete with the likes of Jon Olson and his babe of a girlfriend.
The other thing is that he has no need of the money from YouTube to fund his lifestyle and cars; the family business more than covers this. But what he has done is use YouTube to get him access to events, launches and marketing opportunities with the likes of Hackett, Aston Martin and more recently editorials with GQ magazine.
I suspect at some point soon he will transition to mainstream media, he has already dipped a toe into this world. Plus he has the right look and is on trend with an appropriate beard

But are the underlying conclusions true?? I suspect they are but please feel free to shot me down if wrong as I have always suspected that in some cases the numbers don’t add up.
The fact that Seb's car is on a Geneva numberplate, where his parents live, should give you a clue how self-made he is AyBee said:

Seb in my opinion is one of the absolute worst for this, out of the bunch I watch Mr JWW is probably the wealthiest and has quite an interesting story about where he is where he is, Seb is no where near as wealthy but also talks far too much about how he makes his money and is self made.I also watched Archie Hamilton's latest video which made me rage a little.

No formal ties per se, but I do work with them closely for preferential deals and they do what they can for me to make transition between cars as pallatable as possible. I wish I had a shareholding tbh, as they are absolutely flying. Great bunch there, very down to earth and trustworthy. Some other dealers I think are making their life easier to be honest. Have dealt with a few and nobody has come close to being that pleasant to deal with. Dean is mine, and my brother's contact there. The trying not to lose money thing is luck and a bit of judgement, the right car at the right price is what you need and I've so far been lucky as working out what they'll do value wise is guesswork at best. Touch wood. Would say though if you can't afford for the worst case depreciation scenario to happen, don't do it! Or risk losing sleep every time you drive the thing.

Of that website, I am struggling to tolerate anyone of them for more than a minute other than JWW. He is quite natural on camera but still would rather listen to harry drone on to put me to sleep or James martin as he is far more relate-able to me personally.
