Thanks for the heads up on this guy ( George Karellas ). I have really enjoyed his videos.

I completely agree, His videos are better than most of the car shows on the Discovery channel

He deserves to be discovered by one of the big players and no doubt he will with his natural TV presenting talent.

Since this was posted up the other day I just watched all of his vids back to back. Brilliant little series, and as you say, needs to be picked up by someone really

Watched car throttle this lunchtime, well until they started testing the car outside my flat! (from 6:12)

300,000 views for that in less than one day. Just had a look at their YT page and they seem to be getting banging numbers, as the kids might say.
Car throttle have offices in Farringdon, well over 10 staff, and are in a different league of reach for advertisers.

They're also all solid guys. 10/10 would subscribe
They're very impressive these days, but very much aimed at the younger end of the market IMO.

And also, yes, we get it Alex. You work out. Well done, move on. You don't need to flex in every single bloody video, photo and Instagram post.

The second youtube channel i subscribed because you guys recommended it. the first one was obviously harry´s garage.

I´ve binge watched the first 5 episodes now and i noticed that these videos leave me feeling better than the standard supercar type of content. I don´t know if there´s a correlation but i think watching more "average car" content makes me more satisfied with my current situation.

Thanks to those who recommended the George Karellas channel, just watched the whole lot.

You can really tell he's a professional video maker, the production quality is leaps ahead of everyone else.

He's managed to get a good mix of garage stuff, history and driving.

Made me want an old Esprit. (a classic Range Rover less so smile )

Harry's Garage is great. Love the roadtrip videos, and love the fact that he can appreciate (relatively) affordable cars like his high mileage R129 Merc SL or his Clio Trophy as well as the usual parade of new supercars.

My favourite video is the Testarossa roadtrip. He put an outboarder in the boot.

I quite like the Car Throttle videos in a weird sort of way, but what I don't get it why that Alex chap doesn't just sack them off and go and do it on his own? He pretty much seems to be the face of the channel on YouTube, but isn't (presumably) the guy raking in the money.

You're right, a guy called Adnan (I think) owns CT.

Though I'd wager Alex is getting a decent bit of wedge out of it.

Shmee, I was out with my friend in his SV for a cruise and came across this guy who said his 675lt was MSO and it's very rare. I'm not too familiar with MSO so is this a MSO 675lt?

There are certain parts on that car that have been done by MSO. The front wing vents, rear spoiler in carbon are what I can see from that pic.

A McLaren being 'MSO' doesn't mean a great deal these days, it's just some extra options that aren't on the main price list (and cost a fortune).

Question for Tom/TGE...

If you had to just choose one car to stay with for the next 12 months, what would it be? Past or present.

I would guess its the BMW M4 GT thingy, he got some really good miles on that thing! (250 miles redlining it from one traffic light to another in London)

So I'm doing the morning plod on YouTube, and I came across a Supercars of London video where he does a "fishing challenge" from the inside of a Jaguar F-Type.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW11dy6p30E

He's completely lost the plot. He thinks he's on Top Gear by doing these "challenges", but he falls way short of the mark. Clarkson would have turned the F-Type into a boat, and failed miserably, but it still would have been amusing.

As friendly as he appears, SOL has the sense of humour of an alley cat with a genital infection. Wacky challenges are for truly wacky people - not for some guy who thinks that ordering the same thing as the guy in front of him at the McDonalds drive-through renders him just too darn savage for this world.
