Are these Vloggers just a scam? SOL or Shmee etc???????

Shame to see that channels such as Seen Through Glass don't have that many subscribers, whilst it might not be everyone's cup of tea, you can't admire the amount of work he puts into producing good quality videos.
Just goes to show that clickbait rubbish such as Movlogs and salomondrin will get views and subscribers.
I guess people on youtube just don't care about cars, it always has to be tangential

It's a real issue for Sam - he puts himself up there with Paul and Tim's content, and it really is very good content, but he charges the same as them too, which just doesn't stack up when you look at his subs count. Either one needs to go up or the other go down!Just goes to show that clickbait rubbish such as Movlogs and salomondrin will get views and subscribers.

Anyone seen the stuff on Instagram from Yianni with someone called anish_vin ready to expose someone very popular in the YouTube scene? Deletes posts 1 later...
Oohs do tell.Is it still ongoing ?
It will be quite amusing to see the YTers going to battle along the lines of your silver spoon was bigger than my silver spoon so there !
A grotesquely twisted and modern day version of the Monty Python Yorkshireman sketch awaits
"When I were a lad I had to make do with my parents setting me up in a two bedroom flat wi' just one underground car park space in Pimlico"
"You call that 'ardship ? The flat my parents bought me in Putney, yes the st'ole that is Putney only 'ad on street parking lad !".
Etc ........

Nico Rosberg has started a Vlog....
Personally if I was worth $100M+ (probably more) I would find better things to do with my time!
When you're 30yrs old with $100m, you can come back and say that. Until then, you really can't.Personally if I was worth $100M+ (probably more) I would find better things to do with my time!
He admits that he spoke to Jon Olssen about starting his own Vlog... dear oh dear.

Yianny is horrible, I've had the displeasure to bump into him in person in a non-related car environment and he doesn't conduct himself very well. Sounds like he plays up to the camera a lot and it's almost cringe worthy. He's obviously made a lot of money and has done well for himself but I was told he wrapped a P1 Mclaren recently with the customer instructing his company not to remove any panels whilst wrapping it - Says a lot, and I certainly wouldn't want his monkeys removing panels on my £100,000 sports car let alone a P1.
Wrapping is going down the drain.

I'm confused, if the customer didn't trust his work, why wouldn't he take or somewhere he trusted?Wrapping is going down the drain.

No, but neither would I want a half assed wrap on something like a P1.
fair.topaz, i guess. i mean - you can get an idea of yianni's business from his youtube, 'top quality' in a 'diamond geezer' kinda way.

He's grasped how to milk the bling bling aspect of social media too which explains his YT popularity to a certain demographic.
Very happy to do reciprocal stuff with various of the "self made" guys like Anish Vin. Perhaps his most overt foray in this regard was dealing with notorious binary scammer Elijah Oyesfeso (google ) to whom he "sold" a Rolls Royce. That the binary traders do most of their business via Cypriot entities may or may not be a coincidence.
As for the wrapping I hear he's good at it, he does all the work for Urban Automotive who whatever you might think of their stuff they demand top quality. Equally he has wrapped three cars for the more extrovert wife of a very good and introverted fiend of mine (he's a pensions accountant !)and the work has always been of high quality.... the colours not so much . As regards the P1 not taking the panels off isn't a reflection on the wrapping company is it ? As stated above I wouldn't let Michelangelo take my P1 to pieces in the name of art !

Not quite a Vlogger but has anyone watched Doug DeMuro? He is probably somewhere inbetween a vlogger and a proper car tester as he doesnt do performance testing etc.
I only discovered him at the weekend and quite enjoyed his videos - he does good little segments about the little details and quirks of each car. Particularly enjoyed the ones about the F40/SLR and all of their little details.
Some good videos overall. Definitely worth a watch.
I'm really not a fan of Doug DeMuro. First of all, the titles of his videos really annoy me: they're all a version of "This is why [insert name of car here] is worth [insert high monetary value here]". I also find his style quite patronising and he come across as a little bit of a know-it-all. He does seem to be very popular though. I've also noticed that he casually presents opinion and hearsay as fact. Not that much of a big deal on its own but all these little things add up to leave a bad taste.I only discovered him at the weekend and quite enjoyed his videos - he does good little segments about the little details and quirks of each car. Also enjoy Hoovie's Garage - he was mentioned on here a few months ago when he bought a S600 for like $3000 and tried to fix it.
I quite like Doug De Muro, his content is different than all the UK tubers and he is one of the few who actually reviews cars and gives his opinions on things (as opposed to schmee for example who just tells you about the features with very few actual opinions).
Because of this more opinionated stance I can see him being a bit more of a Marmite proposition than Schmee (who is trying to appeal to the widest audience). I quite like his sarcasm. He's a bit similar in style to Nick Murray (who I also like). These two and Schmee are probably my three most watched tubers.

Think of a young alan partridge .
The videos of his road trips to scotland and wales we're pretty good but it gets a bit awkward where he tries to bung in trendy phrases.
What i'd like to see is if danny dc2 was unleashed in some of these super cars
saw danny have a quick drive of an nsx in one of his videos. he really enjoyed it. i reckon danny will slowly increase his viewers and develop. one for the futureThe videos of his road trips to scotland and wales we're pretty good but it gets a bit awkward where he tries to bung in trendy phrases.
