fair.

topaz, i guess. i mean - you can get an idea of yianni's business from his youtube, 'top quality' in a 'diamond geezer' kinda way.

Yianni not my cup of tea either but he nonetheless seems to run a successful business.

He's grasped how to milk the bling bling aspect of social media too which explains his YT popularity to a certain demographic.

Very happy to do reciprocal stuff with various of the "self made" guys like Anish Vin. Perhaps his most overt foray in this regard was dealing with notorious binary scammer Elijah Oyesfeso (google ) to whom he "sold" a Rolls Royce. That the binary traders do most of their business via Cypriot entities may or may not be a coincidence.

As for the wrapping I hear he's good at it, he does all the work for Urban Automotive who whatever you might think of their stuff they demand top quality. Equally he has wrapped three cars for the more extrovert wife of a very good and introverted fiend of mine (he's a pensions accountant !)and the work has always been of high quality.... the colours not so much smile. As regards the P1 not taking the panels off isn't a reflection on the wrapping company is it ? As stated above I wouldn't let Michelangelo take my P1 to pieces in the name of art !
yeh i dont mean to slate him, just making a comment on his character.

I'm sure he does a decent wrap, his biz would of flopped if not and he clearly works social media to it's benefit.

i liked his youtube vid 'investigation' in to parking across multiple bays.

Think of a young alan partridge .

The videos of his road trips to scotland and wales we're pretty good but it gets a bit awkward where he tries to bung in trendy phrases.

What i'd like to see is if danny dc2 was unleashed in some of these super cars wink
saw danny have a quick drive of an nsx in one of his videos. he really enjoyed it. i reckon danny will slowly increase his viewers and develop. one for the future
I wonder if what he does is ever going to get massive audiences though ?

Do people want to see real life stuff like mending his broken cars or do they just want to see this dream life where you can have all the newest cars/watches.

This is why i like his channel because it is real .

I can't stand Yianni either.

He seems like an insincere and superficial douchebag. I saw an Instagram post where he compiled a series of messages from a guy he met who told him he's a nice guy for speaking to his son. Well instead of being humble and accepting the kind words from the guy, he uploads them to social media to show everyone just how much of an awesome guy he is. OMG, like isn't he just so down to earth?!

Plus, anyone who wears that much gold looks like an underworld crime figure. Also, lose the tatts, the st haircut, the tracksuit pants and the Yeezy's. You're a 40 year old father, not a 22 year old EDM artist trying to cultivate a unique (and by unique, I mean retarded) look.

Yianni comes off as a douche and I rarely watch anything he uploads nowadays, there's nothing entertaining about him. And I have no idea why people in the UK are so obsessed with wrapping cars I mean seriously do you need to wrap P1's, SV's and other exotics? They're already flashy enough. And another thing about exotics is you'll ever get the factory fit and finish back once you take them apart.

I split time between Vancouver/LA nowadays and the only people who wrap their cars around here are mainland Chinese coming to the country with a crap load of money and have no clue what they to spend it on. For the locals the days of bling bling mods died with pimp my ride and thank god for that.

How would you know that he is not involved in criminal activity? I would be surprised if he hadn't been in the past actually. All these claims of having built money up via 'real estate' in the past seem as far fetched as the 'traders'.

Call me crazy but I like to believe that people aren't criminals first off. It allows me a happier life and I try not to judge people just because of an image they portray.

Indeed. At least he appears to have a success business behind him. And I suspect he has very large margins, the materials are modestly priced and I bet he isn't paying his gang of lads a huge wage (there's probably a line of youngsters wanting to work for him) but he has the reputation to charge a premium for his work.

Yep there's a difference between blatant criminality and knowing how to maximise allowances, accounting regulations etc. A quick look at companies house pretty much always shows headline accounts which don't at first glance tally with the lifestyle portrayed.

Most of the traders and property developers are trying to hide something but it's not as obvious nor as overtly criminal as drugs.

Judging someone based on how they look doesn't diminish my life at all.

Sure, I'm self-righteous, but I'd rather be a pompous prick than look like a drug lord.

You're crazy!

Seriously, you make many judgement on people when you see them that you're not aware of and sometimes cannot put words to. I do not get a feeling of being 'genuine' or 'trustworthy' from him. He is clearly a petrolhead and its nice he helps the homeless and employs lots of people but I do not warm to him at all compared to someone I believe to be genuine / honest like 'Harrys garage' or the monotone guy with the evora.

Nice advert for posh wash in the latest vid shmee.

A general question and you may not wish to answer but do the detailing companies that are often referred to by bloggers pay for promotion or is it gernerally free or heavily discounted services i.e. ppf, wraps etc in return.

This is the bit that makes me chuckle. A cursory look at CH in so many cases suggest that not all is how it seems. Yes, clever accounting will minimise profits to a degree, but there seems to be no relationship between the social media facade and what the true figures suggest. If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, it can quack on social media however it fookin wants but I am am entitled to remain suspicious. Rarely does a legitimate business act in such a manner, even whilst operating tax efficiently themselves.

A few of the youtubers who have already been mentioned don't 'smell' right to me.......not that it has to of course and I m sure they don't care.

Very rarely have I come across people that struck as being not quite on the level have I turned out to be wrong.

As for Mr Aleem, he happens to know some clients of mine and we spent an evening in a nightclub together and he's every bit the cock you d expect. I had to try very hard not to take the jam out of his doughnut.

I hope I don't get in trouble for saying this, but on his vlogs, he seems so proud to be a practicing Muslim that he prays every day and praises Allah and professes to be this divine and moral person acting on the wishes of his deity.

But all the swearing at police and ticket inspectors, talking trash about people, probably partaking in drugs and alcohol if he's going to nightclubs (which is haram I'm led to believe), and possibly being involved in his Dad's "business dealings", tell me that he's nothing but a sanctimonious bell-end trying to give off this image that he's this wonderful practicing Muslim.

He really is a stheel.

It is possible to go to a nightclub without both alochol and drugs wink

All that said I agree that mr Aleem is a piss poor role model and yet he has to keep up the facade as his subscriber base is very heavily skewed towards those with whom he shares a heritage, many of who are very young, impressionable and live a life of poverty in comparison. He's been debated many a time on PH and I suspect that it can only end in tears. Interestingly his old man would appear to have been disqualified as a director relatively recently so it's his name above the door now.

The rumour, speculation and innuendo is rife re the whole thing but it's either a case of some of the most brazen hiding in plain sight you've ever seen or everything is legit and above board so treading warily is probably best.

I've heard that Mr Aleem spends a lot of time collecting vehicles from various Police compounds after being seized for having no insurance. I know PET do not provide a self drive policy, so maybe they need to start checking their hirers a little closer.

Or maybe they just choose not to look too closely at who they are supplying vehicles to.

Autocar = 2m;
