Don't recall there being any mention of a specific sale price in the video. Eitherway, I think Tom has been spooked by rumours of falling prices and someone has taken advantage of that and is possibly prepared to play the long game to make a profit.RSK21 said:

He sold it to someone on a forum for a small loss to make sure it was gone in a timely manner.
That person has then sold/SOR it to GVE to try and make a profit. They won't, as the 720S just isn't making the money people were hoping.
Why do people instantly have to say TGE is lying? How about you just take him at his word? He didn't have to tell anyone anything, but he did. And as it happens that's exactly what he told me in Frankfurt on Wednesday. Not a concocted story.

Makes sense, though. TGE can't afford to have the money tied up in the car trying to sell it at a price it might get. So he's sold it for a price it clearly does get, to someone who has the ability/inclination to do that themselves.

That lambo is old school. Looks aside everything else about the Mclaren is better.
I personally think the Aventador is ugly. Huracan Performante is the best looking Lamborghini. Aventador drives like a pig too relative to the 720s.
In fact the Aventador is probably the worst driving suoercar out there. Everything else is better.

Was at a (multibrand) car show a few weeks, where a 720S was parked next to a couple of Aventadors. The Aventadors got ~80% of the crowds' attention and few paid attention to the Macca.
