Oh dear, for a start it's Men not man. Nor is it I who's pleading for people to watch my video's, inviting comments and then bleating when they're not entirely positive. Not to mention coming back to a forum (a place for discussion!) I was banned from just to see if those nasty boys are talking about me.
I've actually enjoyed occasional content he's put out but parking up in Richmond to compare exhaust noise is just lame, especially when compared to many of the other channels. Yes, the content is free but you're literally pleading for people to watch and being paid when they do, so do you not think you should at least try and keep your end of the deal and make stuff worth watching? Maybe take a few lessons from STG, Danny, Schmee etc?
Just my opinion obviously but as valid as anyone else's.
The whole ''you don't have to watch'' as a defence to criticism doesn't really fly when people have to watch in order to reach an informed opinion. People also watch in the hope there will be repeats of the content they do like. Obviously if you know it's dross from the get go you wouldn't bother. YT'ers know full well that the whole PPF, wraps etc has been done to death yet still it goes on. How long will people really stick around when there's nothing new to keep them entertained?
It's at this point I would have expected a certain white charger. I hope he does come back. Sure he loves a good flounce but I miss his patron saint of YT ways.

This is evidently so much more complicated than a simple post could explain; averages affect algorithms for future content massively - sometimes less is actually more.
I get it, to a point, It's a business. Gary Barlow aint gonna do duet with someone interesting if track sales are going to bomb; he's going to stick with Adele. So if you're in it for the youtube numbers rather than creativity, stick to what works. And I get that, I've always thought that trying and work in something you enjoy is the quickest way to ruin a passion.

I’ve watched a few of his videos and don’t rate him tbh and then I’ve seen his attitude on here and wouldn’t watch I’m not helping fill his pockets! He made me laugh over the whole keeping a car he rly wanted a matter of weeks/months but made out he got his money’s worth out of it (think it was the mclaren) complete nob jockey! Seeing a section of the Autosport show titled - "Social Influencers Hangout" (albeit as far off the main area as reasonably possible) .... well, it's the way things are now I suppose?
Take the lineup they put in:
Baron Von Grumble - good vids, focused very much on the subject matter (not himself); tick
Gas Kings - Again, great content, focus very much on the tin
QueenB - Awesome BMW (not a great fan of lowering but I can appreciate the work that has gone into it
Archie - Racing driver so I give him a pass, even if his "social" videos do nothing for me (sorry fella).
after that it slides down hill with Schmee - who really is all "me, me, me" - yes, there are cars, but it's always about schmee. How lucky am I, look at my smug face and listen to my annoying voice. Argh. Sorry Schmee, I'm sure it's not intentional on your part or even entirely warranted as a criticism on mine but the instant reaction I get everytime I see a video of yours is "dripping with glee at his entitled life; gawd I hope he bins it (at low speeds) or just gives up".

Yep pretty pathetic. He appeals to the lowest common denominator but that's more a reflection of the society we live in - If you are the wrong side of 20 and have a modicum of knowledge about cars, he probably won't appeal.Take the lineup they put in:

Unfortunately that is not the majority of people in the UK.
I have to say that at the start of this thread I hated all these tubers. But the ones who for me, as a 48 year old git, produce watchable content, are Shmee and STG.
To write such a long rant about something that is pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things says more about the poster in my view.

We may have different defintions of 'long' and 'rant'? I read books (proper ones, no cardboard lift up panels or textile panels, honest guv) so if I can fit a forum post on one page of my phone I consider that a bitesized chunk, a mere morsel of text if you will.
