I did think about filming my taking my E30 the the 'ring for the first time (later this year hopefully) but I need to learn how to edit footage etc first. Am under no illusion of launching a channel though, merely doing it for a bit of fun.

Anyone got any suggestions for editing software that idiots can use?

What do you guys reckon of this MJJ Racing bloke ?

Some of his content is pretty good, however, i'd like to see some 360 content on a race circuit. Having watched a few of his videos about how to become a race driver and then actually watching his racing.. it'd be good to feel like i was really there in the car... which 360 would help i think..

He's almost got me tempted into thinking becoming a race driver really isn't that difficult...

A lot of people use Adobe Premiere, though I have Sony Vegas (it was on offer at a good price when I got it) and I find it easy enough to use.

Only stumbled across this youtube channel with this Italia chaps Davide Cironi recently but i highly recommend it. Dont think hes a Vlogger as such, looks more like presenter for a TV program but some of the content is just him and a gopro by the looks of it.

Not really looked into his background but seems to be a very handy driver and gets his hands on some incredible metal! Really does cover an array of different cars.

He took me out in his Caterham at a PH Sunday Service. Had loads of fun so had to buy one. I think 360 cameras are st. They make everything look funny.

Davinci Resolve is great and most importantly FREE and accessible on both PC and MAC. That's what we edit our videos on from the very beginning.

Good stuff

For everyone of those there are the 100 who just want to make money.

Before you watch the next video I'd just like to say that a company called Larini make exceptionally good number plates. So if you ever want a number plate, they are the weapon of choice. I can't see a Yaris in the car park wearing one, but perhaps they make a "special" bracket?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bga39DaLpcM

As for the exhaust ... man buys after market exhaust and it is more noisy shockaa ...... they paid for the exhaust and it is "the best exhaust" ever...

Might get one fitted to my special lady. Not heard her orgasm in the last 12 years or so.

Ah sweet, so the Black and Blue one he had you went out in ? Nice... The white and green looks a big step up... 125bhp to 140bhp doesn't sound like alot, but with no weight im sure it makes a difference.... so it convinced you to buy a Caterham !?

An addendum to that is preferably use Final Cut if you're on a Mac, it runs better than Adobe Premiere.

Agree with this 100%! Found him when looking for Performante reviews. Fantastic driving, some great roads, and cars. May be in Italian, but the passion is obvious and he seems like a natural presenter. Well worth a watch.

Yeah and on top of that how much exactly did you spend on Christmas presents for your family last year? And also how much money did your grandparents give in birthday/Christmas cards as a kid, in total obviously.

Nope! I am under no illusion how much effort goes into editing even seemingly unedited vlogs. I just think it's something people might want to watch.

Nurburgringers like to watch/criticise other Nurburgringers, people who hope or aspire to go to the 'Ring might also watch, and there's always those who watch anything Nurburgring.
I see what you're saying, but I don't like to do things by half and that's a girthy video.

Nurburgring folk can be bitter too. I get a lot of flack from the older crowd over there. Claims of speeding up my footage, attracting the chavs across etc. Only half of it is true! hehe
