Just spent a couple of hours watching his videos, is it weird I would rather watch a video about buying a Daimler unseen and driving it home from Scotland as opposed to some rich kids driving a Lambo? So nice to watch a video without hearing the words "Dub Customs", "Wrap", "ArmyTrix Exhaust", "Tony from Gravelwood Cars" or "Seen Through Glaaaassss"

Now I know that was a joke, but I am so incredibly tempted to get one of those and use it in a thumbnailTGE is in a good position to make a decent channel having access to nice cars and knowing other car enthusiasts with interesting garages but instead posts drivel with no actual point or meaning. Oh, and his girlfriend Archie seems to be attached to him permanently, what's that about?
A whole new avenue of potential income streams here. Schmee and M for the bargain hunter, Schmeestretcher for those with a few extra quid and then pushing the boat out with a visit to Schmeetrose.
I can literally see the pennies rolling in.. and I'd STILL watch them over any of tge's (he doesn't deserve the capital letters) video's..

Quite a while back - it was featured on Jalopnik when Jalopnik was a good read - https://jalopnik.com/jon-olsson-s-crazy-audi-rs6-d...DomesticM said:

He used to promise lots of Defender / Lambo / Argos content but it failed to materialise. I guess it's much easier to drive around Richmond Park or past Harrods, have Archie giggling in the background, then record some random exhaust noise. As you say, with access to all the right ingredients he could make something half decent. Maybe something on some roads in Wales with his and his sisters car? Or maybe the Lambos? Mind you, looking at the comments, most seem obsessed with the cost of his hoody, or when he's going to feature the latest offering from Timex.TheAngryDog said:

Do a video of a cross-country blat from a farm in the arse end of nowhere, to deliver a single (live) chicken to a KFC in the middle of London.scene 1 - drives over a wet muddy field at the chicken farm
scene 2 - how many crates of dead chicken can you fit in the back of the rs4

I just did some quick calculations and worked out that between MrJWW, SOL, STG and myself; we have uploaded videos in the last 7 days with a total length of 4 hours 43 minutes and 55 seconds. So although there may be 4 videos of a similar nature coming (I've chosen to hold mine back a week so there's some small spread), what interests me is what number of people actually sit back and watch everything we all upload, in complete full from start to finish. I'm assuming also that anybody that does follow these 4 channels, will also be following a lot of other things too.I would hazard a guess that number is in the regions of hundreds of people, definitely not thousands and therefore the reality is most people only 'notice' the duplication but don't really pay attention to it anyway; or rather wouldn't have watched all the different videos even had they been on different topics. Obviously there's no way to test this out and actually know but I would think that the vast majority of it is psychological anyway.

I always assumed a lot of people were like me, and they have stuff on while they do other things, so it's not dedicated viewing time, it's in parallel with whatever else they're up to.I would hazard a guess that number is in the regions of hundreds of people, definitely not thousands and therefore the reality is most people only 'notice' the duplication but don't really pay attention to it anyway; or rather wouldn't have watched all the different videos even had they been on different topics. What's happened to Benzene Ben? Thought he was ordering a new Mustang. Expected a Shmee collection video.
Ben's back soon, in fact we have a trip starting in 6 days leading up to the Geneva motorshow and then the year gets back into the swing of things again. He's been doing some of the edits behind the scenes including a video that comes on Monday, the Senna piece etc etc. However, on the topic of his new car; April and May will be busy Ford months for us as my Focus RS Red Edition arrives first (which is going to become rather non-standard), then Ben's Mustang comes in although we don't have an exact date yet, before my Focus RS Heritage Edition is added to the collection.
