Dark purple black metallic paint examples

Porsche viola would be the one for me, closely followed by this Malbec Black.

These are great colours because black always looks great at night plus you get a bit of 'pop' in the sun.
As pointed out earlier, people really lack imagination when ordering new cars.

On the 147 and 156 it was called Nero Fuoco 821/A which translates as Fire Black although I think Nero Vulcano and Nero Etna are similar - Etna does seem a little more purple. Nero Fuoco has quite a lot of red in it which can make it appear slightly browny in some lights. Very subtle though.

Audi Cherry Black.

Looks black in all but sunlight. As with most the pic probably doesn't do it justice.
