Lexus LFA - Just to hear it properly.
Ariel Atom v8 - Just look at it. Bonkers.
Gallardo - My 'One day I will own one' car. I haven't even sat in one, ownership is a long way off.
TVR Sagaris - Love the look of them, I like cars that scare you.
Caterham R500 - The one with the sequential gearbox.

Bonus entry:
Aussie v8 supercar.

interesting to see a variety of cars, some are just bad, but hey, everyone is different

1. McLaren F1 GTR - That lovely BMW V12 is just a masterpiece
2. Lexus LFA - Have a thing for Japanese cars and the engine is manic as hell
3. BMW E46 M3 MANUAL - There's something just sexy about that car, and it sounds epic
4. Toyota AE86 Blacktop - Seeing Keichi Tsuchiya murder an R34 GTR on a Touge Run deserves praise and respect
5. Rolls Royce Phantom in Black - Is there anything else that is more elegant?

First post so lets get straight to business.

McLaren F1 (best car ever)
Jaguar XJ220 (bedroom poster and they had one at my local Jag garage when I was kid)
Ferarri F12 (to mind my one of the best looking cars of all time along with the Alfa 4C and Ferarri 250 GTO)
Rolls Royce Phantom (gotta have a bit of luxury)
Ford RS200 (who doesn't like a fast Ford?)

Done!

1. Another lap of Silverstone in a cerebra
2. Brecon Beacons in a 996 GT3RS
3. NW500 in a GT4
4. Spa in 787b
5. Evo Triangle in a 360CS

I'd be happy at that.

In no real order:

Lamborghini Muira. Oh Lord, this of all things.
A pre-1931 Bentley.
Another timeless pre-war Gentleman's car - perhaps a Lagonda V12 drophead coupe
Light Car Company Rocket (even tho' I have something comparable in approach)
Aston Martin DBS.

1: Land Rover 130 hi-cap pick up... What the hell a Twisted version
2: BMW X5 50D ... This would be my daily
3: Maclaren 675LT ... Lovely engineering
4: MB AMG-GT S Brabus ... The noise!
5: Porsche 911 2.7RS .... I chose this because I love the idea of a classic but I'm pretty rubbish with spanners, and I bet these old Porches were built well.

It's hard to give 5 cars that I have always wanted to drive, but my current list would look something like this:

supercar: McLaren P1
gt: Aston Martin V12 Vanquish (gun metal grey)
track: Lotus Exige
muscle: Dodge Challenger Hellcat (in a loud colour, obviously)
fun: Ariel Nomad or full on WRC gravel spec Subaru Impreza (on the right day)

Maserati Shamal

Were I ever to acquire all the above I guess I'd be saying farewell forever to the fairer sex because no woman would want a guy who refused to sleep anywhere but in the garage housing these five...!

Not a 73 SD455?
Actually yes, you're absolutely right there, the Super Duty is the one to have, of course - this one caught my eye with its 5-speed manual conversion:

I love these 'good ole boys' Stateside - genuine guys who've bought, owned, cherished and driven great cars over many years - real enthusiasts!

How much would this set you back today, I wonder?

I'm very lucky that I've had rides in most of my dream cars now thanks to my job. My most memorable are:

1. LaFerrari (round the nurburgring and in the Dolomites with a mad Italian driving sideways a lot)
2. Bugatti Veyron SuperSport (Andy Wallace driving near the factory, the acceleration did my stomach in a way that no other car ever has. Actually made me go a little light headed)
3. McLaren F1 GTR (Up to London a couple of times and down to Goodwood. Bloody loud thing, but so special with the seating arrangement)
4. McLaren P1 (a little road rally in the Middle East. Not a very comfortable seat for long drives, but the induction noise is incredible)
5. Pagani Zonda HH (Driven on the "Road to Ronda" by the owner who is a very talented driver. The noise with the roof off was probably the best sounding car I've ever heard)

Only car that's managed to evade me which I'd love to see, hear and experience is a Ferrari 250 GTO!

Dammit, I forgot about the 037. I suppose there would be a certain irony if it replaced the Audi Sport Quattro in my list

At least 2 have been road registered, so that would be allowed actually.

For me:

Ferrari F40
McLaren F1 GTR
Dauer 962 Le Mans
Porsche 918
Any contemporary WRC car (preferably set up for tarmac)

I know of the Count Rossi one, but what's the other? Was it a factory road-goer, or a converted racecar?

Can I make a new list today? The more I see other people's lists, the more I accept that I am greedy and can't narrow this down to only five.
Nice to see some love for the XJ220 and RS 200. Two of my favourites that would make today's list (along with both generations of DBS and some green laning in a Discovery).
