Scary.
"Warwickshire Police has released footage from a dashboard camera of the moment a lorry ploughs into cars on the A46 in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Driver Martin Gibson, 54, of Bathurst Road, Gloucester, pleaded guilty to five counts of dangerous driving and was jailed for 15 months on Friday 20 May.
The other drivers in the six-vehicle crash in May 2015 were seriously hurt."

The whole video is worth a watch, £££s of damage, but I wonder if this guy claimed on insurance to get his seat cleaned:

Quite a lot of foot down when the car isn't straight. Guaranteed way to get the car going sideways, which makes you wonder if they've only driven hot hatches.
Easy to do for the inexperienced when panickingOnly had the dashcam a day and already got a moron. Shouldn't be surprised I suppose with the number of them about.
40 Zone, both lorry and myself doing 40, Mr Focus decides he's bored, he'd been right up my trumpet for a while so I was ready for him to do something stupid like that.
Clicky
Reasonably pleased with the G1W camera. Picture quality isn't amazing, when moving numberplates aren't very clear, stationary it's fine. For £26 though I can't complain.

I'm watching on a phone so maybe I missed something, but I don't see anything hugely wrong with that Focus's driving?
Maybe he was a bit close? Or maybe the guy didn't like the fact the guy wanted to speed over the 40 limit. Nothing highly dangerous here though...
Wow, what a response, . Maybe I should say I just posted it to wind some people up,
Yeah, I know there wasn't a whole lot wrong, just didn't see the point in the overtake when there wasn't really much room to slot in.

In what way am I policing the roads?

Don't worry, doubt I'll be posting any more, .

How much rom do you need to slot in? looks like plenty thereYeah, I know there wasn't a whole lot wrong, just didn't see the point in the overtake when there wasn't really much room to slot in.

OK, I'll bite. If the camera car was doing 60 in an NSL and the Focus pulled the same overtake, then fine. But to pull off that overtake safely the Focus must have been doing 50-55 in a 40 and that's a dodgy bit of driving in my view. Not the worst we've seen, by any stretch, but certainly worthy of note.
I think he was a bit 'close' pulling out after the car came the other way, but other than that, really nothing to complain about! I am all for seeing examples of just 'slightly bad driving' as I still find it good experience for gauging how I'd deal with situations on the road in comparison and what I may learn from - I don't just want to see carnage like many of the posters do here. But that was...pretty weak!
If you had no intentions of overtaking the lorry, you should have left a larger than normal gap in front of you to aid those who do want to advance.
