I'm sure the driver of the McLaren will stop at stop signs from now on.
An adult chasing a kid like that makes you wonder what the adult is gonna do if he catches up. I doubt he'd be calling the police.

Riiiiiight. So that's how things should be sorted? I get it now; you're one of 'those' knuckledraggers who thinks smashing things up solves a problem and 'teaches people lessons'.
haha, you don't even know me but feel free to think what you like...

Neither of the 2 did themselves any favours, but all I was saying was I hope the kid didn't get caught and 'taught a lesson'.
Fair punishment, yes - a beating? No. Unless you're saying that assault on kids is ok regardless of what stupid stuff they did is ok?

I'm not quite sure where my original reply went - I was switching between devices. Ho hum.

The only reason the guy in the McLaren chased after the kid was because the kid smashed the windscreen in a petulant fit. Whatever the McLaren driver did wrong, are you seriously saying the kid was in the right to smash the windscreen?

That was the implication, surely?

I think the kid should have to compensate the driver for criminal damage and the Police prosecute the driver if he broke the law.

I remember a case from years ago of a couple of riders in Scotland doing similar speeds getting 4 weeks in a maximum security (out in 2, I think), although they we 'racing' on the public highway according to the prosecution.

Girl biker was a complete idiot, an accident waiting to happen.
Oh go back to your whisky grandad. If you put your specs on and you'll see she didn't cause the accident. Up to the accident she's alright. Not perfect but better than me (and you?) at 21 years old.
He's right though and so are you on one point.

She IS going far too fast relative to that backed up traffic..clear lane ahead....any one of them could pop out to use it.
But you are right, she is or should be better than older geezers at one thing, reaction time...and sadly she didn't react well. She screams, and applies the brake some time after. She did well when braking to scrub off some speed, but she was 10m too late with her reaction! If she had have braked when she spotted the danger, she would have probably stopped.

I am glad she is ok, I am all for new bikers and all for female bikers too, but I do agree that the chit chat on the intercom is not the best thing for concentration levels also.

She was just going 10mph too quick for that situation. Sorry, but she was.

Some of those were funny, I actually heard myself saying "Are you actually aiming for the other car?"
In some of those it was a lot harder to have a crash than avoid it yet still they managed.

Thats the way it looked as well. McLaren driver at fault.

None of which entitles the skater to smash the car windscreen.

I'm not saying the McL driver wasn't at fault, I'm saying people shouldn't take retribution into their own hands. There are two tts in that video.

Edit: if it's staged as suggested above, the point is moot.
