This chap has been on this thread before, but I don't think this video has. He reckons he did nothing to antagonise him.

He has a lot of compilations of him driving too fast and then getting into a fit when he gets cut up.
Does seem odd though, I haven't watched it again but I didn't notice anything to antagonise him.
Maybe going a bit slow through the villages? Dunno.
He'll have been throwing up hand gestures in response to the flashing.
Doesn't explain what causes the initial flashes though ?

That video has been posted more than once before.

I know that junction well and the usual convention is the right hand lane is used for turning right. Straight on there are two lanes with the left most lane being a bus lane active for a couple of hours in the morning rush hour and usually full of illegally parked cars visiting the shops at other times of the day.

He's a helmet cam nutter turned dashcammer so I'm guessing he has done something antagonising in the past

Bloody quick at the end!
Other videos proves he a bit of a nob.

I missed it first time round, did we have a discussion about the driver of the Police car helping make that a lot worse than it needed to be?

That was odd; couldn't work out what went wrong. I should think the drover's laundry bill exceeded the value of the car.

2 seconds in the back left wheel is off the road, assume exceeding capabilities! (Probably not helped with the right wheels being on the gravel)

What gets to me is how soft the side skirt is that "stops" anything from getting in and then under the back wheels!

That's not what it's for - they're to slow the impact to stop the roof (and occupant's heads) being peeled off by the floor of the truck, which it does.

I presuming this chap had crap tyres ... He didn't appear t be going fast and the car behind had no issues ...

slow puncture ? not checked tyre pressures for a long time ? certainly looked fairly slow to be having any problems.
Well held though.
I drive that road every day smile

It can be slippy as covered in leaves sometimes.

I watched the video on my phone and couldn't see anything happen at all!? Lol

I call custard on his "proof" that there was no prior contact. Renault was in a hell of a hurry to catch, flash and imply with indicator "pull over" to cammer. I reckon that started before, and something like a red light caused the Renault to lose contact for a bit.

if this is the same road I'm thinking of, it's complete fking hell to drive down if you don't know the area, buslanes that other people were using that turned into turn left lanes, Had no idea you could use them (everyone else was), straight ahead lanes switch from the middle lane to the left lane sometimes, hull is awful

There had to be some kind of reason why the Renault drive followed him, even though the video tries to indicate that this is first contact it was completely out of the blue.

Thing I could think was if the guy in the camera car made a gesture at the Renault for overtaking and then it kicked off.

Either the camera car does not indicate and he swerves to avoid it, or he does not see it indicating and swerves to avoid it, losing it in the process....

Possible, but I'm not convinced. Renault looked to be in a hell of a hurry, would even an angry man in a hurry waste all that time following cam man just for a hand signal? I'm pretty sure that the chap in the Renault was specifically in a hurry to catch cam man from the off...

I once had the same thing happen to me - bloke in a Rover came flying up behind me, gesticulating, going red with rage and flashing his lights, following me until I made a quick unsignalled turn, and to this day I've no idea why. But that was one incident in 15 years, this guy seems to attract trouble all the time
