Its not a different manufacturer I know but the cars couldn't be more dissimilar.

From the 80's/early 90's

to this

...and nearly to this...!

How about the 90?

And not quite a car with the same name as another car, but....

Oldsmobile and Opel/Vauxhall Omega too.
Umm, they're all GM brands, so will most likely be the same car? Especially Vauxhall/Opel
Very bloody different - and there are three cars going by the same name

Opel Monza - 2 door coupe
Chevrolet Monza - two door coupe but very different in skin and underneath
Chevrolet Monza - 4 door booted saloon (Bellmont in UK)

I was reffering to the comment that all the GM based cars were likely to be same but thanks for the "non GM" addition - Grandad x x x

I know one's a bike but:
Pontiac Bonneville
Triumph Bonneville
seems more in the spirit than some of the efforts so far.
If you aren't happy then how about:
Hindustan Contessa
Hino Contessa

or even the Swift of Edwardian days and its Suzuki namesake.
