I've got a Nissan pathfinder with all terrain tyres and so far 60k miles and about 40% worn. I wish they'd hurry up as they are noisy as hell.

My wife got 17k out of the front tires on her Jeep Renegade, it's a 1.4 petrol that most days doesn't do over 10 miles, I think they were bridgestone.

She must drive like a loon, but then again I guess there is a lot of stop start.

The front tyres on my BMW 116 have now done 58,000 miles and show no signs of needing replacing. I used to think 35,000 was good on a 3 series. What's the biggest mileage anyone has got from tyres? The tyres are Michelin Energy Saver.
Yes, but will they stop you in the damp and rain???

Good to know.

Worth checking yourself though. I've had BMW dealers fit four year old tyres and Porsche dealers fit them back to front!! hehe
Always good to check. I have a tyre supplier locally try to fit drive tyres (chunky tread) onto the steering axle of my lorry. Such an obvious thing it took a fraction of a second to spot but he seemed quite puzzled.

There are some really impressive figures, ones I never thought achievable on a set of tyres!

I've probably done 18k on the set of tyres on my E Class which I thought was good going, certainly no sign of them getting low on tread. Admittedly that's mostly motorway driving so I assume there'll be a few more miles out of them yet.
