I have a reg number and would like the VIn number before I start asking the seller questions.

Is there a way to do it?

Search for the reg at 247spares then look at the source code when it asks you to confirm if it's the right car

They've broken that, unfortunately.

But the BMW one works just fine.

The BMW web site https://www.bmw-warranty.co.uk/BMW/Login/Index no longer gives out VIN numbers, Looks like they have blocked that out as it now shows Model type in the place of VIN. Anyone know another link to get a VIN from registration number?

Why would you need it?

I can do it, it's not a public link though.

To put in to a VIN decoder to get a proper spec list when you're looking at piss poor adverts.

You can register here: http://www.blueprint-adl.com/blueprintlive/ then login, go to Catalogue, put reg plate and it will give you VIN. I use it to check different cars specs.

Only brings up car makes that are listed and then does not give VIN. Wont work on other makes or motorbikes.
