It does make the M Sport seem like a good deal.

Looks like a 2 door MPV.

Sits bloody high
They look high but they're not. I'm 5ft7 and the top of the car is shoulder level.

Very expensive and very under endowed given the price of the Megane Cup-S

I know which I'd prefer.................

Ford need to release the 5 door Fiesta ST in the UK, instead of this nonsense.

One poster was complaining about deals on the Clio. Interesting how pricing differs country by country in this segment. Just checked one of the major new car brokers in Germany. Base on the road price after discount (MT except Clio, no extras):

- Swift Sport = 15.800 EUR
- Fiesta ST = 16.570 EUR
- Clio RS 200 = 17.300 EUR
- Ibiza Cupra = 17.470 EUR
- Clio RS Trophy = 18.400 EUR
- Polo GTI = 18.900 EUR
- Corsa OPC = 20.250 EUR
- 208 GTI = 21.460 EUR
- 208 PSp = 24.850 EUR

Think the Clio is good value in comparison if you want AT, but there's something for every taste basically.

Guestimate for the ST200 is 25-27k after discounts. Good thing they will likely only make a few hundred as that seems a tad ambitious... The Megane is now out of production I think, but for that money you can have a Leon Cupra here.

As an owner of an ST2, I see no need for this car from Ford. Just make the Fiesta RS please guys!!!!
Too pricey. The main reason I went for the Fiesta was the price to begin with. It is an amazing wee car, but I don't think I'd feel the same having to pay well over £20K for it.

it's nice, but let's face it, it's no Polo GTi!

Should've been made in the new Focus RS blue (the sky/baby blue).

Still a bloody fiesta. I simply can't get excited by any of the "normal" cars with a bit more poke. Nasty plastic cabins and switchgear that looks as though straight from a Burrago toy from the early 90's just doesn't cut it for 22k. Include depreciation and your on a big losing streak!
the cabin is actually pretty nice and I presume you've not driven one?

The price reflects the limited run or exclusiveness. That what people are buying into.

I think some people struggle with this concept. If you want VFM just buy a normal one...

How about adding more cars to the fiesta/clio/208 test as there's still the Cooper s, abarth competizione, ibiza cupra and polo gti to consider...

JCW starts at 23 and will possibly hold its value better.

And just to correct my price estimate: 24.6k EUR list for the German ST200. That's decent value IMO, good bit cheaper than in the UK.
