I wish i could afford it. We to have a vantage in this colour but being an S. Turns heads and gets great compliments

Good work Aston. Looks great to me. A blend of traditional shape and new ideas. Never be able to afford one though.....

Love that!

Different enough to justify the new name, but still looks very Aston-esque.

One word - fussy.

Astons should not be fussy. Even the 70s Lagonda wasn't fussy. Nor the 80s V8 Zagato...

Also the interior looks like a step back!

So that's the looks panned. I'm sure it's brilliant to drive and handles beautifully.

Looks a decent looking car, but not loving the two-tone roof/body.
The colour they've shown it in is particularly vile.
You can have the roof rail in black. The only option is to have a black car though.
But it does look a lot more elegant in one colour.

Nice job, that looks properly smart in black. The wheelbase looks in better proportion too; all the other pics I've seen it looks too stretched.

Sadly I can't get the configuration to work - damn you Apple!!

I think Aston have played far to save with the design of this car, if someone asked me to look at a photo of this new car for 2sec only, I could not tell them if this is a new car, or old one. There is nothing new here for me from a design point of view which is really sad because we have all been waiting for a new Aston for a long time.

In normal colours this looks great miles better than the FF everyone is going crazy about in an other thread.

It's not a good sign when people are talking about what colour they would have the car in so that it looks good, in a desperate attempt to mitigate the pi$$ poor styling laugh

It's quite obvious to me that Aston Martin have F'd up big time with this one.

I've tried to like and played around on the configurator with various colours. It looks like you can get rid of the two-tone paint with either silver or black on the rest of the body. Even so, the side profile doesn't do much for me, though the car does look good from other angles. I'm not sure what they were hoping to achieve with the front arches, but I don't like them.

Aston's new head of centre console design?

Or is it just me?

Must just be me that likes the roof strake then. With it and the roof panel in black it looks awesome.

It's definitely an Aston.

But that's ok.

I'm sure it will sell very well.

On first seeing this new design I was pleasantly surprised... now I'm just concerned that this car is going to age badly. The design is overly fussy unlike the purity of previous models, it's going to be the next XKR - not bad looking but never one of the greats.

The engine however may make up for that...

Aston Martin F-Type, with a bit of added ugly. Engine sounds great at least.
