I just won Best of the Best!
Discussion
I wasn't too close this week :-( Played for the Aston x 2, Jag F-Type x 2 and the Tesla. Actually had a play the other day and got some insurance quotes (via Go Compare) to actually see if it was feasible to insure the Aston were I were to win and surprisingly, it was only £1,100 which would be covered by BOTB after the first 12 months. So I'm going all out for supercars from now on :-)

I think they pay for the first year's insurance. Just click the +£10k box to pay for the following years :-)My results look like the poster above this week. Got £5.65 back or so.
I think I'm going to play once a month when there is a good offer on now. I played over £50 this month and realised that's how they are profiting quite tidily from these competitions. It's just too tempting to go for 10 tickets, to get the discount, and then add another £7 or so for the £10k, that much be their real kicker for profit.

I was one of the runner ups this week so won £200 game credit ... not sure if I should be delighted or disappointed!
Are you able to take then £200 back out or is it only credit? If you can take it out then its pretty good. if not you havent actually won anything as you have to play.

You don't need the exact pixel to win, it's the closest wins. This weeks winner didn't have the exact pixel looking at the results.
I imagine alot of the time though, there are multiple people on the same pixel, and then it comes down to your next closest choice, which is why I normally pick my spot then surround it with another 8 tickets as a minumum.KingNothing said:

As an aside, the BOTB facebook page is worth a read. Always a few disgruntled posts slagging off the judges verdict and scam comments, which to be fair to BOTB, they do actually respond to most of them.
As someone who comments for BOTB on their FB page, I often have to step outside and kick a pigeon to stop smashing my computer screen! It is a waste of time trying to depict exactly where the ball is, as the location is not set. You have to guess what someone else thinks, which is just random. So a dart flung in the rough direction is as good as anything. Sheer luck rather than skill, if you happen to get close (as I have done on occasion). I wish they had a set real location instead as it puts me off from playing without one.
