Was messing with the buttons / display and somehow managed to reset the trip distance... A day or so later pulled up and noticed this, was completely unplanned but thought of this thread and just had to take a pic smile

From my last Jeep earlier in the year. I had it for about 10 years It had been pretty much faultless and rock solid until the day I sold it and...

...got a much quicker Jeep. This display is so much more satisfying smile

1.63 60ft in a Jeep?

11.8 seems too fast for just 105mph.

Possibly. I’ve only ever consciously tried to run 0-60 and 0-100 times (set to display real time progress on the dash). The distance times it just records anyway. I probably lifted off as soon as it flashed up 100 (on a private road) and coasted but the system may have recorded a 1/4 mile time. Or...it really does get off the line like a scalded cat with loads of traction with 4wd and the weight on the wheels. But as the speed picks up it has the aerodynamics of a brick so that takes the edge off it too. In truth not something I’d noticed as I’m not familiar with drag times/terminal speeds. But having pointed out the anomaly I’ll have to try for a proper 1/4 mile run next time I’m on a dry private road.

My passenger thought I was a bit nuts when I asked them to take a photo of my speedo. (After I’d dropped a couple of gears and tweaked my speed)
