There is only one 4WD king in my eyes and that's the R33 GTR 400R produced in 1996 and has the namesake 400bhp. Apparently the regular R33 GTR was the 2nd production car to break 8mins round everyone's favourite the Nordschleife (after the XJ220)

It's what does it for me anyway, love mine. Maybe not the fastest, or the best handling, or finest looking, but when you combine everything it does (and that it allows Muttley to come along too) it takes a bit of beating IMO

I would stick a vote in for this too and it's easily the best 4wd car I've driven.

Nissan skyline r32 gtr is supposeably better than the later skylines due to the light weight so I'm casting my vote for it.

Audi RS2 -
Another vote for the RS2
The Audi RS2 was one of the first, if not the first, performance estate car from a mainstream manufacturer and was astonishing for its time (I am sure there are some PHeadcases out there who will let me know what preceded it). The combination of performance and available space made it a really usable supercar. I thought they were incredible when they first came out and they are still pretty astonishing (0-100 kph in 4.8 seconds). The are becoming quite rare now though.

Ok, so performance might be limited, but this one is an Overfinch with a 5.0L Chevy V8, so it won't be sloth-like, but probably more brisk than super quick.

I just love the shape, noise and ridiculous fuel economy. For sale on PH too.
